For years Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch series has been my very favorite. After listening to my first Jo Nesbo book "The Snowman" I was hooked and downloaded everyone of his books the main character Harry Hole is now my second favorite series.
I have to commit on the narrator Robin Sachs as the narrator can make or brake a great book he is one of the best you can always tell what character is talking with out doubt his narrating will keep you on the edge of you seat.
If your looking for a new series then look no further.
I would recommend this book to anyone that likes good vs evil type of books. Koontz is a master at it, his characters good or evil are always developed to the fullest.
Very much, we all know a bad narrator can destroy an other wise great book!!! MacLeod Andrews is one of the best narrators.
How the story moved along, it was so hart warming and fun to listen to.
Yes, this books is so good I loved every minute of it and would listen to again , Connelly is one of the best and never, never disappoints. I'm still and always will be a Harry Bosch fan one of the best reads yet but Mickey Haller is just as good and I hope has a very long life yet to come with Connelly.
RIGHT UP THERE 10 OUT OF 10
I LOVE HOW SHE INCORPORATES CHARACTERS FROM HER OTHER NOVELS IN EACH OF HER STORIES
LOVED LOVED LOVED AS YOU WELL KNOW IF YOU LISTEN TO AUDIO BOOKS YOU KNOW A NARRATOR CAN MAKE OR BRAKE A GREAT BOOK. SHE DOES A EXCELLENT JOB
LIKE THE AUDIO BUT COULD NOT SAY AS THIS IS THE FIRST BOOK I HAVE LISTEN TO HAVE NEVER READ THE PRINTED VERSION
ANOTHER GREAT PERFORMANCE, IF YOU HAVE LISTENED TO MANY AUDIO BOOKS YOU KNOW HOW IMPORTANT A GOOD NARRATOR IS AND NATALIE ROSS WAS GRATE
I never read the book only the audio, the beginning was a little hard to listen to but keep listing the story get really good a little predicable but very entertaining all the same.
as I said the beginning was a little hard to get through but the story did develop to be very fun and the thing with the ghosts was a nice twist.
no this was the first audio book I have listened to by Laurel Lefkow the performances was great,.
I'm so tired of paying for audio books and the narrator is so bad with all the swallowing, lip smacking, & long pauses. If these things don't bother you as they do me then you'll like the story.
I tried and tried to read this book but could never get past the first 100 pages, so I down loaded and so glad I did.
I have read several author's series books, like Patterson, Cornwell, & Standford their series start off great but about 3/4 through the series they seam to lose steam the character falls flat, but not Connelly's Harry Bosch I have read everyone and listened to the last two on audio always a good read. He's by far the master of these kind of books If you are looking for a great series from the first book to the last you won't be disappointed in this author, just try to start at the beginning of the series but look out you'll be hooked and can't wait to start the next book.
