Six years have passed since Jake Fisher watched Natalie, the love of his life, marry another man. Six years of hiding a broken heart by throwing himself into his career as a college professor. Six years of keeping his promise to leave Natalie alone, and six years of tortured dreams of her life with her new husband, Todd. But six years haven’t come close to extinguishing his feelings, and when Jake comes across Todd’s obituary, he can’t keep himself away from the funeral. There he gets the glimpse of Todd’s wife he’s hoping for...but she is not Natalie....

My first Coben novel and I was disappointed by the story and the narrator, but because other reviewers indicate his earlier novels are superior to this I will try again.

Thanks to a heart transplant, former FBI agent Terrell McCaleb is enjoying a quiet retirement, renovating the fishing boat he lives on in Los Angeles Harbor. But McCaleb's calm seas turn choppy when a story in the "What Happened To?" column of the LA Times brings him face-to-face with the sister of the woman whose heart now beats in his chest.

Dick Hill's narration brought life to the characters and I've moved him to the top of my favorite narrators list. Of course, the book by Michael Connelly was excellent.

Award-winning author William Kent Krueger has gained an immense fan base for his Cork O’Connor series. In Ordinary Grace, Krueger looks back to 1961 to tell the story of Frank Drum, a boy on the cusp of manhood. A typical 13-year-old with a strong, loving family, Frank is devastated when a tragedy forces him to face the unthinkable - and to take on a maturity beyond his years.

Well written and totally captivating. While I have enjoyed the Cork O'Connor series this is my favorite William Kent Krueger novel. Orlow's reading of the book made it even more interesting.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

What did you love best about The Help?

The Help was almost like a play instead of just the reading of a book. I could hardly put it down. I listened while I walked and often walked twice as far as I had intended because I wanted to listen to more of the book. As usual was disappointed in the movie because so much was changed, not edited, changed!
