Apparently one of the great things about being a famous author is that after writing several good books you can throw a bunch of odds and ends together that would never get published if you were a new author, and foist it on the public as short stories. That's what Grisham did here. I'm disappointed in him. As far as the narration goes, it was self-authenticating because it's the worst narration I've heard on an audiobook.
