"just ok"
Of course Rowling writes well, but the story and chracters are unrelenting bleak and the social scolding irksome rather than moving.
"Fine Writing, Too Didactic"
Kingsolver is not a professional reader; she should leave that art to an expert. She tries too hard to pronounce every work carefully so the flow of her own language is lost. The book is worth reading, but the lectures on ecology do get tiresome.
"Delightful, As Always"
Peters' Cadfail tales are always a pleasure for a quick, fun read. Tull handles the story with aplomb.
"pleasant read"
It's a sweet read with a standard theme: Our lives happen in accorance with chaos theory.
