Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is back, packing a whole lot of attitude. This time around, she's on the trail of Kenny Mancuso, a boy from the working-class burg of Trenton, New Jersey, who has just shot his best friend. Fresh out of the Army and suspiciously wealthy, Mancuso's also distantly related to Joe Morelli, a vice cop with questionable ethics, a libido in permanent overdrive, and a habit of horning in on Stephanie's investigations.

For LAPD homicide cop Harry Bosch - hero, maverick, nighthawk - the body in the drainpipe at Mulholland Dam is more than another anonymous statistic. This one is personal. The dead man, Billy Meadows, was a fellow Vietnam "tunnel rat" who fought side by side with him in a nightmare underground war that brought them to the depths of hell.

If you can count on one thing from "Madea" Mabel Simmons, star of Diary of a Mad Black Woman and Madea's Family Reunion, it's that she's got something to say. She's the beloved, hilarious, sharp-witted, pistol-packing grandmother who's watching out and speaking her mind. Now Madea is telling her own story, dishing her memoirs and hard-won, hilarious wisdom in her own inimitable voice (with a little help from her friend Tyler Perry).

Would you consider the audio edition of Bad Blood to be better than the print version?

Yes, and it was. Listening to audio makes me pay close attention.

What did you like best about this story?

The author brought me into the story. At first I wasn't sure what the men were exactly doing. But as time moved on I was surprised as to what was really going on. Those poor women, used like cattle.

Have you listened to any of Eric Conger’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No, cannot compare.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Women prevail. Happy to see the women folks aim and shoot. Yahoo!

There's an art to delivering a speech. Listen and learn.

What did you like best about this story?

African Americans can become President of the United States. President O'Bama can run our country. If Congress did not focus on their own agenda and provide for the American people our country could and would move forward. Our congress is OLD. Old thoughts. We need younger, open minded men and women in Congress.
