SPOILER ALERT*** When we find out the lawyers allegedly going to die in a plane crash actually had turned the tables on those pursing them. I had thought only one of the two would have been the victim but not the other one.
Steady good performance throughout and he changed his voice just enough for the different characters but not outlandish like some other narrators do.
It's a good exciting tale without profanity and with a Christian element I like.
Yes, It's a good story and I would like to listen starting with the first book through to the last.
Corey's sarcastic wit is always good just bordering on the too much. Corey and Kate carry out their mission together, they are separate personalities but come through for each other and the best part there was no obligatory kidnapping of the good guys.
Scortt Brick always does a great job. I can never listen to him without thinking of the first book I heard him read.
Joe Mantegna yes Ace Atkins no. I'm just tired of all the profanity that's a substitute for writing quality under the guise of being "reality".
Good guys win and bad guys lose just like we expect in this type of book.
He's done many of the Spencer books and does a good job.
Author came close to Parker's Spencer.
The narrator makes or breaks a book. Most do a good job this narrator did. The story moves along also. Patterson doesn't have lag time. It's either about the case or cases or the family. This story has an ending but also a potential for more from one of the story lines.
There were happy endings. The good guys win.
They give good solid performances with proper pacing and understandibility.
This was nice short story. The bad guys were predictable but it was good to see Cory in action because it's been a while. Retrospectives on his police career are also nice. Scott Brick is one of the finest narrators in the trade and it makes the book that more enjoyable because of his narration.
I don't think one has the right to tinker with an author's work. Take it or leave it as it is.
Yes I have and I always enjoy him. One of the best in the business.
No. But a chuckle every now and then.
I have enjoyed the Jack Reacher stories up until this one. Though I did not read them in order and have not read/heard all of them (I have just 8 books) I have enjoyed Reacher vs. the world.
I thought this would be another good story because Reacher was going to hook up with former comrades-in-arms to battle the bad guys. However, when the author wishes to interject his personal political views, in this book those being: anti-Christian, anti-hunting and pro PETA shout outs, then I must spend my money on other books.
