Based on more than 40 interviews with Jobs conducted over two years—as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues—Walter Isaacson has written a riveting story of the roller-coaster life and searingly intense personality of a creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing.

I couldn't stop listening to this book, and will listen to it again. Amazing book, to match an amazing person. Not a guy you would like for a friend in normal world, but his friends are not normal, they are geniuses too. In a world of anything Political Correctness, he was a breath of fresh air that will be missed. In his head, perfection was all that mattered. How he got there was always a journey, not always nice but pure in a wierd way. As said in the Dylan song, he was the loser that became the winner.
Highest highs and lowest lows, or what life is truly about.

    Story

The tsunami of cheap credit that rolled across the planet between 2002 and 2008 was more than a simple financial phenomenon: it was temptation, offering entire societies the chance to reveal aspects of their characters they could not normally afford to indulge. The Greeks wanted to turn their country into a pinata stuffed with cash and allow as many citizens as possible to take a whack at it. The Germans wanted to be even more German; the Irish wanted to stop being Irish.

Another great Michael Lewis Book, once again he shows the "so called' smart people are really as dumb as hell. From fisherman in Iceland, to bankers in Germany, to the whole government of Greece, how to screw up the world. He tells a story in a straight forward, down to earth way.
Only reason for 4 starts on performance is because I like the author to read it. It drives home the work.

Nobody is born insecure, angry, bored, or depressed. The fact is, happiness is our natural state and, as psychologist Dr. Joseph J. Luciani explains in this warm, witty, and empowering guide, chronic unhappiness is just a bad habit, a habit that can be broken.

He breaks it down to 2 things, habit and control. I wish I had this book as a younger person, it would of save me from some of my mistakes. Listen to it many times to get the most out of it.
