According to her own moral calculations, Katie Carr has earned her affair. She's a doctor, after all, and doctors are decent people, and on top of that her husband David is the self-styled Angriest Man in Holloway. When David suddenly becomes good, however, properly, maddeningly, give-away-all-his-money good, Katie's sums no longer add up, and she is forced to ask herself some very hard questions.

Benjamin says: "A comedy that steps into religion."
    "Great Book"
    Overall

This was a terrific book and the narrator was excellent. She was just the right voice for the telling of this story. Nick Hornby does it again.

Koom Valley? That was where the trolls ambushed the dwarfs, or the dwarfs ambushed the trolls. It was far away. It was a long time ago. But if he doesn't solve the murder of just one dwarf, Commander Sam Vimes of Ankh-Morpork City Watch is going to see it fought again, right outside his office.

Returning to the territory he so brilliantly explored in his masterful New York Times best seller American Gods, the incomparable Neil Gaiman offers up a work of dazzling ingenuity, a kaleidoscopic journey deep into myth that is at once startling, terrifying, exhilarating, and fiercely funny, a true wonder of a novel that confirms Stephen King's glowing assessment of the author as "a treasure house of story, and we are lucky to have him."

    A. Hawley says: "Beautifully narrated"
    "Fantastic Book & Reader"
    Overall

Neil Gaiman's book is lovely and wonderful, and Lenny Henry's narration is pure magic. There are not enough adjectives in the world to describe how much fun this book was!

War has come to Discworld...again. And, to no one's great surprise, the conflict centers around the small, insufferably arrogant, strictly fundamentalist duchy of Borogravia, which has long prided itself on its ability to beat up on its neighbors. This time, however, it's Borogravia that's getting its long-overdue comeuppance, which has left the country severely drained of young men.

Terry Pratchett's humour is spot on again and Stephen Briggs was terrific on narration. Loved it, really a lot of fun.
