The story is a take on that other little girl with the "hood." It is given life by the narrator Leo Laporte, his voices lend weight to this dramatic reading.

I love sci-fi and I love futurist stories and Niven excells at this. His projected futures always come from an extension scientific principles and then he builds amazing stories inside a rooted world where the rules make sense.
I loved this story of what happens when societies are insulated and over specialized.

This book is Harry Potter, Narnia with the most flawed human characters imaginable at some points during this book I was absolutely disgusted by the choices of the main characters. This made certain sections really hard to get through. Other sections flew by with an amazing pace that only a well written book can produce.

I loved this book, it is a well paced novel. Clarke's ability to pull you into a world is amazing.

It is a good story and I am getting used to Johanna Parkers male voice reading.
Much different than the HBO series, both are fine stories.

I would love this to be the gold standard for audio-books. The acting and it is definitely acting is wonderful and quite reminiscent of Orson Welles.

This book covers the the space of time from the end of ME1 and the Start of ME2. This is done from the inner workings of Cerberus and their machinations in respect to creating superior biotics. I won't go into anymore detail but to say this let's you see the Illusive Man from a different perspective.
I gave it 3*'s due to David Colacci I think this is better read than the last ME book. However I think it would have been better served if they divided up the feminine voices to a female, Mr. Colacci's female voice grates on me.

This is truly a great listen for people who want to understand the thinking and process behind invention .
If you are after a behind the inner workings of Apple book this one is not for you.

Woz spends a lot of time on his motivations and what shaped him into the artist he is, his father. This book shows his zeal for knowledge and understanding. I truly enjoyed this book.

This is a well written and well read. It is heartfelt and insightful as to how a man can hone his craft.

This is my first review, but after listening to this book and reading some of the reviews I thought I would add my two-cents.
First,Raul Esparza is amazing bringing these characters to life. He had me hating and loving characters entirely based on his performance and I believe he stayed true to SK's intent. Amazingly done.
Second, the book itself is an extremely veiled sermon on the terrors and horrors of conservatives and religious people of any ilk. I spent a good bit of time just wondering why he didn't just publish an essay on the true subject he wanted to talk about, "How me the conservative reader and all those I know are ignorant and evil."
I have the ability to separate the sermon from the book and did like the overall story and conclusion. But if you can't you may want to skip this one.
