The book is essentially a story based on fact with signifcant creative license used, I presume with the aim being to assist the reader feel the emotion associated with the various situations presented in the book. Unfortunatey I was looking for something more of a factual relation of history rather than a subjective interpreatation of the events. I was also very frustrated at the author's repeated insitance upon 'providence', or God, playing a role. I view this as a further indication that the book is a highly subjective story rather than an unbiased presentation of the evidence.
I would not recommend this book as I feel the way the historical figures are presented is overly subjective, which may distort the reader's view in a way I feel is irresponsible, unless of course the reader fully understands that this is a story and little more. So, maybe I shoud have looked into it further before I purchased the book!
