I'm entranced by the whole series , I've listened to 4 so far. I'm waiting for my next book credit for number 5. These are by far the most expensive books I've purchased, I understand why as they are so long. Considering they were written in the 1990's and now we are in 2012, perhaps the price can be renegotiated.

Have you listened to any of Davina Porter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She is excellent. I've only listened to her on books by Diana Gabaldon. I'm on book 5 and think Davina Porter brings all the characters to life. She has a superior ability in voice to make all characters indistinguishable. She does so with delightful changes in pitch, tenor and accents. She is really remarkable and the reason I want to hear the whole series.I will be sorry when the series is over. I'm on book 5 of 7.
