Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The story is superb and captivating with the talent of Jim Dale. He so aptly distringuishes one character from another. Our family ages 8 to 49 y.o. each loved it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Around the World in 80 Days?

The scenes from India are all well done but the suspense of rescuing the princess and who was in disguise was magnificent. We would occasionally stop the story to let our imaginations ponder the scene. We discussed not seeing the movie, even though it is a cliassic, just because we hate to disturb what the magic within ourselves.

What about Jim Dale’s performance did you like?

ANY book Jim Dale narrates is exceptional. We got hooked on listening to his talent in Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland. He can do a dozen voices and you can keep every character alive and individual. He does the same with this Jules Verne tale.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The narration is accompanied by poignant music lightly played in the background during particularly dramatic scenes that added to the suspence and mystery. It all kept you guessing and anticipating.
