Karin Slaughter sheds light on diabetes (without being fat!), pregnancy, and adoption. Jealousy over rides thankfulness and wrecks havoc in many people's lives. This is a good book to read. For best enjoyment, I recommend reading Slaughter's earlier books that lead up to this one. If this is not possible, then it is still okay...Slaughter keeps the new reader enlightened without the previous readers feeling things are being repeated to death. She is an excellent writer.
The Goldie cooking mysteries is one of my all time favorite series. This book is another in the line of great reads (or listens)! Lots of twists and turns keeps the listener/reader guessing until the end. I highly recommend.
cross between stephanie plum and hanna swensen. slow to start but worth finishing. very cute. not for teen readers.
Great to listen to if you feel overwhelmed and need purging! It helps to know about the Episcopal Church litany.
This is definitely not the Wizard of Oz! The twists and turns through the LA Times and the FBI are so telling of how politics and bureaucratic red tape really works! Some of the same characters are in this book as are in THE POET. Very good read!!! (or listen:)
This was a great book! The story and the narrator were both top rate. The Russian mob is not what one thinks as described in this book. Worth reading...more than a love story....more than a mystery!
This book was done as a made for tv movie and has run several times. I love the movie, but the book is much better!
This is the last story of the Quinn brothers...the youngest Seth. I was pleasantly surprised that this one was the best of all of the Chesapeake Bay Series.
Wow! One twist after another! One of the best Sarah Booth Delaney adventures![:-bd] You will enjoy this one!!!
Light hearted mystery who dunit that keeps you laughing as the plot and clues twist and turn! Loved it!
