Marshall Ziegler's father runs a gallery in London, which Marshall has always ignored. But when his father is beaten to a pulp, disembowelled and left to die, Marshall suddenly needs to know every last detail of his life. He discovers that his father knew a dark secret at the heart of Rembrandt's life, one that has the potential to bring down one of the world's most lucrative industries. But a sadistic murderer is on the case, killing in increasingly brutal ways to keep it hidden. Will Marshall beat the killer to the truth?

"Not a bad story line, poor Narration though"
    Overall

The story line was not bad, but the narration was very poor. She tried to change back and forth with voices based on characters, this was painful at times. That being said quite an interesting underlying story. I would not however recommend this book

    Story

I have to say I had just listened to 2 books from my favorite authors and were slightly disappointed with them. So when I downloaded this I had low expectations. This was a GREAT book for engaging, I laughed out loud when the hockey scene played out. This book really kept me n the edge of my seat and the narrator did a fantastic job of adding inflection and "grit" to his voice of the main character to help you really feel the emotion of the story. I highly recommend this one!!!!

Behind the well-known U.S. security organizations - the FBI and CIA among them - lies a heavily guarded, anonymous government agency dedicated to intelligence surveillance and to a highly specialized brand of citizen protection. Shock waves of alarm ripple through the clandestine agency when Washington, D.C., police detective Ryan Kessler inexplicably becomes the target of Henry Loving, a seasoned, ruthless “lifter” hired to obtain information using whatever means necessary.

Ramon says: "Thrilling book with reasonable narrator"
"Fair Story Line not a great narration"
    Overall

I have to say this would be one of those books I would ask for a refund on!!! Storyline seems not bad, but the narration is far from engaging. If you think you can get over that try it! I am having difficulty with that..
