Repetitive and very, very slow moving.
The book could be 1/3 shorter and nothing would be lost in the story.
Brilliant. I bought the book strictly because George Guidall is the narrator. He is my favorite narrator, and I've listen to well over 100 audiobooks. He has a great voice, does exceptionally well with foreign names and place, has a lot of variation in his voice which distinguishes the charactors well (and the voice for each character is appropriate.) His pace is also very, very good.
Excellent. I've listened to over 300 books since 2008 and while many were very good, this is the first I listened to twice.
So much of the US economy is tied into the Chinese economy.
Thoroughness. Plus, I think Henry Kissinger is/was a fabulous statesman.
Yes. The story is light, funny, and entertaining.
The male characters are sexy, but are very respectful. And, just about everyone has a quirky, but funny, personality. No one is judgement. Everything is kept is a humorous manner.
Her voice is perfect for the location described by the book. She has distinctly different voices for the male and female characters....much more variation than the woman who reads some of the other books by the author.
No, that's is what I enjoyed about the book, and Janet Evanovich's other books. I can listen to them while I shop, clean house, and cook, and stay entertained, but can put them down and pick them back up and enjoy them just as much several days later.
I think I have listened to just about all of Janet Evanovich's books and liked them so much that I wish a producer would turn them into a movie series.
