Nails the attitude of the book, a good performer
It's funny, but the humor is humor of the absurd, and the book is just the same type of absurd made up facts over and over. Yes, it's clever, but it's too repetitious. You have your fill of it after 15 minutes.

Very well read, very well written. I don't know if I was just in the mood for this exact type of book or what, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes it's about a guy who grows devil horns, but what I didn't know is that most of the book is the back story of the characters as (fairly) normal people. Great character development especially for a horror/fantasy novel. Couldn't recommend it more.
It was actually a decent read (listen), and well written with good character developement, but the ending had holes in it. The witness is angry at the main character and allows him to take a murder charge. I thought it was unrealistic for someone to go that far for being angry. Also the accused could show the detectives theory was wrong do to timing issues of when the accused purchsed items and found out about the inheratence. Too many hole, he could easily get off.
Overall, the book was very good. I had some problems with a hero who can consistantly beat impossible odds. The book kept me riveted the whole time. It was very well read. The ending was unsatisfactory and I wanted some ends tied up. Overall 4 of 5.
