"Read before seeing the comic"
I enjoyed it more than the comic because I was able to visualize the characters for myself. The comic depiction of the characters was different that the picture I had created in my mind.
I enjoyed Claus, because he is strong, but confused. He is controlling, controlled, and completely oblivious and I enjoyed that.
"Lemony Leave Me Hanging"
I love all the books by Lemony Snicket, I just wish they would resolve. I really just want an ending where more than 50% of the loose ends are tied up...
"Made me want to know more"
Yes, it started in the middle and left me a little confused, but overall I really enjoyed it.
I enjoyed the juxtapose.
I am interested in getting the rest of the series.
"Worth a free read"
Not really, I got it free, enjoyed simply because it was free, not sure I would recommend any one buying it.
No, his women's voices were odd.
"Hands down my favorite series!"
I love this series! The steampunk, the monsters, the characters, the locations. All of it is perfect!
I loved how she described how many woman feels about her love life. I love how she used monsters.
*Spoiler* The wedding scene! Its a mix of old, new, borrowed, and vampire!
"Steampunk, but not my favorite"
I had no idea what to expect when I began this book. I simply choose it because it was "steampunk". I enjoyed the depiction of not-Victorian London and the monsters. I didn't enjoy some of the more violent scenes and the anger some of the characters experienced.
His loss of sanity seemed forced and slightly not realistic. I may have changed how he descended into insanity.
"Loved the series, happy with the ending"
I loved her narration, when I was camping and finished Catching Fire. I tried to just read the book, but as soon as I returned to cell service I got the audio version and finished the book.
I enjoyed how she helped bring this captivating story to life.
It was frustrating her constant lack of self understanding, but that is also probably what I connected with the most.
