This is the first Cornwell book I've listened to. I loved books 1 and 2 in print. Tom Sellwood's narration is incredibly well done. The accents he uses really bring life to the characters. My only disappointments were to learn that book 4 is not on Audible and that Tom Sellwood is not narrating any other books in the series.
Narration was good. The story went nowhere had no climax and took a long time to get there. Very disappointing after listening to 1963 and really enjoying that one.
For a sequel. I love Grisham, but this wasn't his greatest, even though it is a sequel to what I consider his greatest novel, A Time to Kill. The story told well, but it was predictable. Michael Beck's accents were right on and his narration was quite enjoyable!
I have enjoyed many Bernard Cornwell novels and Charles Keating does a great job animating the characters and giving true dimension to a great tale.
