Absolutely. I liked that Sharon was the center of attention again and the story was very compelling.
I think Ted and Ray are my favorites but they don't get a lot of airtime in this book.
Voices for everyone - even when I read her books now I will have voices for all the characters.
Nope but I listen to books to escape.
I love this series and I was a little concerned to see that there was a new reader but he did a great job. Worth the credit!
This is even better than the first book! Sybella is a much more realistic character!
Great story! I hadn't read a JA Jance book in a while and I'd forgotten how much I like her characters. I solved one of the mysteries early but there were actually two incorporated into this book and the second outcome was a complete surprise.
Same idea as Rick Riordan's books - that the gods and goddesses have kids but with a different twist. In this case they are all training to defeat/hold back the god Loki. The book is part mystery part fantasy.
This was deeper than I expected it to be. It's definitely YA but it still has a good message about war crimes. I'm looking forward to reading another one.
This was a real surprise. I've enjoyed Coben's Myron Bolitar books but this is by far the best book I've read by him. It was a complex plot, used good vocabulary and didn't have the gratuitous sex that are in Coben's adult books.
I really enjoyed this biography. The story was compelling and though it is obviously a little biased (there are two sides to every story) I finished the book liking Wyclef even more. If you grew up listening to the Fugees and Wyclef like I did you should definitely read this book. Sam's narration is an added benefit because it makes the reader feel like they are listening to Wyclef himself.
I don't know why everyone has said this book is so bad. It was a little short but it was much better than the last Stephanie book and I really enjoyed it.
I've read a lot of memoirs about cooking from Ruth Reichl to Anthony Bourdain but this might be the best one yet. Samualsson's reading makes it so personal to listen to but he remains humble throughout. This isn't the cocky book that usually comes from the celebrity chef world. This is absolutely worth your credit!
