I really enjoyed this book, the narration was outstanding, went looking for other books that he has done. The story line was enjoyable as well. Never guessed the ending. Love books like this. Highly recommend.

Shaw Landon loved Rule Archer from the moment she laid eyes on him. Rule is everything a straight-A pre-med student like Shaw shouldn't want - and the only person she's never tried to please. She isn't afraid of his scary piercings and tattoos or his wild attitude. Though she knows that Rule is wrong for her, her heart just won't listen.

I just really enjoyed this story, right from the beginning. The story line of not fitting in or parents who don't approve and the ability to rise above it. I just wanted to cheer them on.

Isabel Beebe thinks she’s cursed in the romance department. Her teenage crush, Ford Hendrix, ignored all her letters. Her husband left her for another...man. So Isabel has come home to dust off her passion for fashion and run the family bridal shop until her parents are ready to sell it. Then she’ll pursue her real dreams. At least, that’s the plan, until sexy, charming Ford returns and leaves her feeling 14 all over again….

I thought this was a great story. Anyone who has dated or been involved with someone who has been enlisted can relate to the story. You can fantasize about your future life with that individual knowing that they may not even receive your letters but you keep sending them just on the outside chance.... The joy of all Susan Mallory stories is that there are always happy endings and once again she did not disappoint.

On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

Book is nothing like TV show, premise the same but very different. The book was really really long...too long. (Dragged out) finally got to the ending and felt it was rushed. There are so many characters in the book it takes the first 15 hours just to keep them all straight. Didn't really feel like you even knew the main characters that well by the end. Bummer...

Generally once I start something movie, book or project I have to complete it, but 3 1/2 hours into this book, I just couldn't do it, it was long and drawn out. I honestly don't mind the authors voice, its different, and it was probably the only reason I continued to listen to the book.

I just got sucked into this book, I listen to my books while I drive back and forth to work, often my commute is an hour long, I found myself taking the long way home just so I could listen to the book longer. I really enjoyed this author. This is the first book that I have listened to by her.

Why we think it’s a great listen: How do you one-up a book that’s already a global literary phenomenon? Hire Simon Vance to (flawlessly) interpret the loves, lives, and murders of Sweden’s cold and secret-filled world. A spellbinding amalgam of murder mystery, family saga, love story, and financial intrigue. It's about the disappearance 40 years ago of Harriet Vanger, a young scion of one of the wealthiest families in Sweden.

It was a bit slow at the start, but got into it quickly, I have a long commute and this book makes it go by so quickly... actually have listened to all 3. After my commute I would sitll be sitting in my garage still listening. This series is well worth it!

There are a lot of monsters in Anita Blake's life. And some of them are human. One such individual is the man she calls Edward, a bounty hunter who specializes in the preternatural. He calls her to help him hunt down the greatest evil she has ever encountered - something that kills and maims and vanishes into the night. Something Anita will have to face alone.

Amazon Customer says: "Not the best abridgment."
    "Hate Abridged version"
    Overall

I have been reading this series and this is the first book that is in the abridged format. It just kind of ended without any closure. The next one in the series is also an abridged version... why is that, all other books are unabridge.
