Two weeks before he was to marry Sherry Grayson, Clint Jessup disappeared without a trace. Now, suddenly, eight months later, he's back with no word of explanation. Only an impossible request: trust him. Trust him despite the devastating past...and an inexplicable and increasingly frightening present.

This is the first novel by this author that I have listened to. And it will be my last. The whinny female lead charactor made it hard to really get into the story.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

A different narrator. A main character that was not so annoying.

What do you think your next listen will be?

A book from the Savannah Reid series.

Would you be willing to try another one of Diane Dabczynski’s performances?

NO! It was very hard listening to her. That whispery, breathless voice was very distracting. Especially when you are trying to deal with an overly opinionated main character.

What character would you cut from Lemon Tart?

    The main one.

    Any additional comments?

Did not like this book or narrator. Will not be listening to any more from this author or narrator.

A rumor has persisted in the vampire world of a dark slayer - a woman - who travels with a wolf pack and who destroys any vampire who crosses her path. Mysterious, elusive and seemingly impossible to kill, she is the one hunter who strikes terror into the hearts of the undead. She is Ivory Malinov. Her only brethren, the wolves. Long ago betrayed by her people, abandoned by her family, and cast out by everyone she held dear, Ivory has lived centuries without companionship or love.

I love the way the author keeps to the story line and not skip here there and everywhere. I also like the narrators. The only thing I didn't like is that they have the American Women speaking with an accent. Looking forward to the next book. I hope the author brings out the hints that were brought out in this book about Syndel and Ivory possibly being related.

The stranger silently summoned her from across the continents, across the seas. He whispered of eternal torment, of endless hunger, of dark, dangerous desires. Somehow, American surgeon, Shea O'Halloran could feel his anguish, sense his haunting aloneness, and she ached to heal him, to heal herself.

I really enjoyed this book. In fact love the whole series. I hope the author continues to write more. Was really glad the narrator did not have Raven speaking with an accent like the narrator in Dark Curse did, that was annoying since Raven was American. But this one is great. Looking forward to the next one.

Lara Calladine is haunted by childhood memories of being held prisoner in an ice cave and kept sane by the whispered stories told to her by her imprisoned aunts. They instilled mage and Carpathian magic deep within her and then helped her escape.

    I love this series.
The author is great have read all of her books.
They would be excellent, just too much sexual descriptions. It is very distracting when you are not into to soft porn.

This book was fantastic. Hats off to the author for writing a book for adults without all the foul words and sex. This book held my attention from the first sentence. It would be great if the author continued to write more about the other characters in the book. Love it. Was even better because the narrator is one of my favorites. Have recommended this book to many of my co-workers and friends.
