Damien Stark’s need is palpable - his need for pleasure, his need for control, his need for me. Beautiful and brilliant yet tortured at his core, he is in every way my match. I have agreed to be his alone, and now I want him to be fully mine. I want us to possess each other beyond the sweetest edge of our ecstasy, into the deepest desires of our souls. To let the fire that burns between us consume us both. But there are dark places within Damien that not even our wildest passion can touch. I yearn to know his secrets, yearn for him to surrender to me as I have surrendered to him. But our troubled pasts will either bind us close...or shatter us completely.

Where does Claim Me rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I would rate this series as one of my favorite.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Damien of course.

Have you listened to any of Sofia Willingham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I listened to her in Release Me which was the 1st book of the series. I think she did an awesome job.

    Any additional comments?

I give this book 4.5 Stars.

It was so good. Ms. Kenner put us on the cliff hanger again. I can't until until July for the 3rd book. In Claim Me, we learned more about Damien's secrets and Damien and Nikki's relationship. Also, we learned more about the supporting characters.

I love the interaction b/c Damien and Nikki. It's scary how they need each other for comfort or each other in general, but at the same time, it's great to see how much in love they are with one another. I love when Nikki used the term "Damienize".

I can't wait to see what will happen in Germany. I am looking forward to listen this book again. :-)

What did you like best about this story?

I like Aly's relationship with Jared when they were growing up. How she always loves him, even when she was young.

    Any additional comments?

The concept of this story is not something new but it was beautifully written. This story is about second chance. I could feel Jared's guilt and heartache. I was so sad for his lost but also how he blamed himself. I could feel the chemistry and love between Jared and Aly. I thought the relationship they had growing up was very special. Made me wish that I have someone like Jared growing up; someone who always be there for me and stood up for me.

I look forward to the next book. I hope that Jared learns to let go of the past and guilt.

He is everything I crave, all I desperately want - and he is everything I can't have. Evan Black embodies my every fantasy. He is brilliant, fierce, and devastatingly handsome. But he is also headstrong, dangerous, and burdened with secrets. My family warned me to stay away, that I could never handle Evan's dark dealings or scarred past. Maybe I should have listened. Maybe I should have run. But our desire is undeniable, and some temptations you just can't fight.

    Lina and Evan

What's a great start of a new series. I enjoyed this book. I love a strong female lead and an awesome male lead to drool over. This book introduced us to The Knights - 3 powerful and enigmatic men, Evan, Tyler and Cole. This is about Evan and Lina. Two tortured souls that found each other. Lina loved Evan from the moment she saw him. Evan felt the same but he promised her uncle,John that he would not pursuit Lina. These two finally got together after John died. I love their story and how their love prevail.

This book has twists, sweet, unpredictable and fun to read. Most of all, it's hot, streamy and sexy. I can't wait read about Tyler and Cole.

I give this book a 3 star. I am disappointed with this book. Ms. Banks did not delivered this book. I have been waiting for Donovan's story and am disappointed. I thought Van and Eve fell in love too quickly. Their story is predictable. One thing that bothered me is that Cam and Travis are Eve's half siblings; as Van and Eve's relationship develops, Cam and Travis call Van 'dad' and his parents 'grandparents'. I understand why at the end of this book but I still think it's weird.

i enjoyed the reoccurrence of previous books' characters, KGI and the Kelly's clan.

Yes, b/c it was brilliantly written. I love the banter b/t Cam and Andrew.

What other book might you compare The Edge of Never to and why?

Easy by Tammara Webber. The heroine struggles to find herself.

    Any additional comments?

This is the first time I listen to this author. WOW, what's an incredible and original book. I love how Cam and Andrew met and fell in love. I thought the concept of the story was original and the journey they took was interesting. I wish I can be that carefree and did what they did. This book was well written with so much mix emotions. I laughed, cried, and exhilarated while reading this book. This book is well worth a credit I spent.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The male narrator. He did not sounds 'manly' enough for Nash or Cash.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

    Disappointing

How did the narrator detract from the book?

    Yes, the male narrator

    Any additional comments?

This book is not as good as the first 2 books in the series. While it gave good conclusion to the whole series, the story of Nash and Marissa was not hot or steamy. In my opinion, this book fell short. It did explained a lot about Nash/Cash and their father's story.

I am glad that I did not listen bad reviews of this book. In this last installment of the series, Emma grew in to her own person. She learned to forgive herself and live/look forward to the future and not in the past. I love Evan. He has always been in love with Emma. I am glad that they worked things out. I like the fact that when I saw each other again, they took things slow and tried to work on what was wrong with their relationship instead of just dive in and get back to where they were. I agreed with other reviews that Emma's friends babied her too much. There's so much of eggshell one can walked on. All in all, this book gave me closure to this series.

I don’t remember when I’ve ever just stopped to live in the present, to hold on to the seconds I’m in.”Emma Thomas’s struggle with an abusive home life came to a heart-pounding conclusion in the final chapters of Reason to Breathe, the first installment of The Breathing Series — Rebecca’s Donovan’s bestselling romantic thriller (USA Today). WOW, what's a follow up for the Breathing series. It's so intense, heartache, turmoil, etc. I am amazed that Emma could take so much. This book explained some of the events toward the end of Reason to Breathe. Emma got away from her abusing aunt to head straight in to another abusing relationship with her mom, Rachel. Although, Rachel may not physically abused Emma, she did it mentally. Emma endured the abuse b/c she loved her mom. Again, she hid the abuse everyone including both Evan and Sara this time. I know that Emma is young and is still learning about life but for a smart girl, you would think that she learned from what happened with her aunt. I think this is where Barely Breathing drove me crazy.

Emma and Evan's relationship struggled in this book b/c Emma constantly pushing Evan away. She sought out comfort with Jonathan who was Rachel's boyfriend. This is where I felt it was a little twisted but maybe a little bit realistic? Granted Jonathan may be closer to Emma's age, he was dating her mom. He fell for Emma b/c he felt the connection because both were abused. Emma strung both Evan and Jonathan along. From someone who claimed that she loves Evan, she lied to her teeth to him. This is very hard for me to take. She constantly reached out to Jonathan. I felt that Emma turned in to a not very nice person. She took her guilt out of Jonathan. She was mean to him and was verbally abusive. It looks like the vicious cycle repeating itself. My heart broke for Evan when Emma left. Maybe it was the best decision she made by being honest.

This book was well written, full of turmoil and heartache. I look forward to Out of Breath for the conclusion of this series.
