"A cross of 50 Shades series & Bared to you series"
Yes, Narrator was good and it's good novel.
Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared to You. These books are very similar. If you enjoy these 2 book series, you won't be disappoint with one. I think Damien is a blend of Christian Grey and Gideon Cross. He's pretty awesome.
Damien and Jamie.
Yes, I listened to this book in one sitting. It was a long one.
I did not realized that this is a series. I am glad it is. The 2nd book & 3rd book scheduled for this year. I can't wait.
Damien's trouble past tucked my heart. I am concern with Nikki's problem. I wonder how the author is going to deal her issue moving forward in the series.
"Get ready to be Damienize"
I would rate this series as one of my favorite.
Damien of course.
I listened to her in Release Me which was the 1st book of the series. I think she did an awesome job.
I give this book 4.5 Stars.
It was so good. Ms. Kenner put us on the cliff hanger again. I can't until until July for the 3rd book. In Claim Me, we learned more about Damien's secrets and Damien and Nikki's relationship. Also, we learned more about the supporting characters.
I love the interaction b/c Damien and Nikki. It's scary how they need each other for comfort or each other in general, but at the same time, it's great to see how much in love they are with one another. I love when Nikki used the term "Damienize".
I can't wait to see what will happen in Germany. I am looking forward to listen this book again. :-)
"OK book, nothing special"
I like how Preston is responsible for his siblings. I don't like Amanda.
Yes.
Yes - Kirby Heyborne. Maybe - Shayna Thibodeaux
I give this book 3 stars. I was an OK read. I like Just for Low much better. I thought Preston was sweet and responsible. Granted the job he picked was not ideal but it was the only thing he thought of that he could earn enough money to support his family. I don't get me wrong, I don't condone what he picked but I understand where he came from. I think Amanda is sweet but very judgmental and spoil at times. She has a shelter life. When she found out about Preston's job, she broke up with him. It would be nice if she tried to understand why he did it. I thought the ending was a little be haste.
"Love knows no bound"
I would recommend this book b/c it's an easy listen and the narrators were great.
Unconditional loves of Cage and Marcus for Low.
I thought Kirby and Shayna were great. Their voices were perfect for the characters.
A girl from a poor side of town, Willow 'Low', fell in love with a rich boy, Marcus. I heart this story b/c it's realistic but also love conquers all with minor obstacles in their way. I love that Low has a strong personality, knows where she's from, but not afraid to go for what she wanted. Marcus is from a rich family but he is independent from it. His love for Low is endearing and you can't help but root for him. I love the characters in this book. They're very likable.
This is a 2nd book for the Sea Breeze series. I did not read the 1st book. I read this book as it and found that the author wrote this book in a way that the reappearance of previous characters were explained.
"Good action and romance story"
This is the second book I listened from Ms. Linda Howard. She's a good story teller. This book has good action and romance. I like Ms. Howard's heroine. She always has strong and independence personality and still able to be sexy. I enjoyed this book a lot.
"Good book to start this series"
Yes, I would recommend this book. I thought the book is well written and the reader was excellent.
I like Mairin b/c she's independent and head strong. She stood up for what she believed in regardless of the consequences.
Mairin tried to tell Ewan that how he kissed her was wrong. Not with tongue. LOL
This is a good 1st book of the series. It introduced all 3 McCabe brothers and their characters. This book is about Ewan and Mairin and their journey to find each other. I thought Maya's description of Mairin's education about kissing/sex from a nun was really funny.
"Some time love found you when you were not looking"
Yes, I enjoyed Paulo Costello reading this book. I love the Scottish accent she did while reading this book.
I love how romantic Braden is. I love how he found for Jocelyn.
I think this is her 1st reading b/c I did not find any other books she had read.
Wow, I listened to this book. I love the reader voice with the Scottish accent. I read this book through e-book awhile ago and enjoyed it a lot. However while I listened to it, I found that Jocelyn can me such a coward at times and it drove me crazy.
My favorites quotes: I love Braden.
He jerked his eyes back to mine. "You look beautiful, Jocelyn." ... "But you need to put your hair up."... "Because," his voice was low, a deep purr he reserved for the bedroom, hence why I felt all the way down into my panties, "I like being the only man who knows how beautiful your hair is. How gorgeous you look with it down.:
"I spent last night going over and over the last six months in my head and I know that you're lying to my. I know you love me, Jocelyn, because there's no f**king way I can be this much in love with you, and not have you feel the same ways. It's not possible."
"Good story, awful narrator."
I like the story line. The interaction of he 2 leads. There's no holding back. The conversation is very brazen.
The male voice - Bennett Ryan needs work. The narrator is awful. At least, she should try to sound like a male when reading male part. Very disappoint.
I read this book when it was The Office. I was excited for this book to officially release. I am disappointed of the narrator.
"Mixed reactions/feelings about this novel."
I am sure if my time was well spent. I had mixed reactions/feelings about this book.
Maybe
Justine's performance was OK.
I loved and hated this novel. It had many steaming sex. I enjoyed this portion of the book. I like most of the supporting characters. I loved Bryan Sinclair, the hero. He was sweet and super romantic. However, I could not stand Myrna, the heroine. At times, I found her quite annoying. I thought her feelings were really dragged out. Jeremy, the bad guy's character, was really weak. After all the build up through the whole book, his confrontation with Myrna and Bryan was really weak. All in all, it was an OK novel.
"Perseverance conquers all."
I love that the author showed the characters can overcome heartaches and hard ship especially in this young adult novel. I love Lucas.
Great choice with the narrator. Her voice is perfect for this YA book.
This book dealt with rape topic and I thought the author did a great job working it through the story line. I am glad she showed the thought process of how the character worked through her decisions.
