The friendships they’ve formed, the new family they’ve found, and the history they’ve forged will all play a part in helping them navigate the turbulent waters of the band’s exploding popularity. A greedy executive hell-bent on success, a declining pop star looking for an edge, and a media circus that twists lies into truths are just some of the obstacles the lovers will have to overcome if they are going to remain together.

Overall I enjoyed this series. It was written different than I was used to reading. It was like and recounting of events and journey. At first I was not sure what I thought but it grows on you and you become captivated by her story. I only did the audio book for the last book but would recommend it. You can picture that these events could really happen. It is about choices and decisions that you make and the consequences of those actions/choices. It makes you laugh, cry, smile and cheer. The dialogue between characters is very funny. The performance was great.

Emma wakes in a hospital, with no memory of what came before. Her husband, Declan, a powerful, seductive man, provides her with new memories, but her dreams contradict his stories, showing her a past life she can't believe possible: memories of war, of a camp where girls are trained to be wives, of love for another man. Something inside her tells her not to speak of this, but she does not know why. She only knows she is at war with herself. Suppressing those dreams during daylight hours, Emma lets Declan mold her into a happily married woman and begins to fall in love with him.

This is a fantastic book. Set in a futuristic time. There are so many things going on that it's sometimes confusing but that is just part of the story line. This book keeps you on your toes and keeps you guessing as to who is the good guy and who is the bad guy. Emma has no memory but hears voices in her head. There is a creepy doctor who you are not sure you can trust. Her husband Declan is hiding something and seems like a jerk but he loves her and treats her so well that you don't know if he is good or bad. Emma remembers another man but does not know who he is but is drawn to him. She is not sure if her visions and memories are real or not. This book has suspense, love, deception and drama. It is an amazing story.

This is a continuation of Camryn and Andrew's romance. They have made the decision to change their destiny and life just keeps getting in the way. The events that happy are totally believable. You can see how it is so easy to get moving in the wrong direction. Andrew sees that Camryn is going down a bad path and if he is to save their relationship and Cam he needs to get them back to where they were on the road. This part of the story encompasses their journey and how they refuse to take the path 99% of couples take. This is a great romance novel that is sweet and just an easy listen. There is no over the top sex scenes or huge dramatic events but is not boring either. It is written a bit like S.C. Stephen books. I do like that that author chose to have a dual narration. She does change the female narrator but it works.

I know that some have reviewed this book as slow. I agree to a point. It is a love story told through many years of their lives. However, it was a beautiful love story. Cam and Andrew have ups and downs just like any couple. Their story makes you laugh and cry. There is just something about the two of them that keep you listening. You want to find out what will happen next. Cam is young and confused but knows that her current life is not what she wants. She does not know what she wants but then meets Andrew. He is running away from his troubles and feels an immediate connection to Cam. Together the set off to change their destiny. The thing I like about this book is that it is not so over the top with events that happen to Cam and Andrew, that you can still imagine yourself in their place. This is a romance story that will not disappoint. It reminds me a bit of S.C. Stephens books.

Lissianna has been spending her centuries pining for Mr. Right, not just a quick snack, and this sexy guy she finds in her bed looks like he might be a candidate. But there's another, more pressing issue: her tendency to faint at the sight of blood . . . an especially annoying quirk for a vampire. Of course it doesn't hurt that this man has a delicious-looking neck. What kind of cold-blooded vampire woman could resist a bite of that?

One thought that is not conflicting in my mind is that the narrator is absolutely horrible. She is all breathy and high pitched. She totally killed this book. So that is why I am on the fence. I think there was a lot of potential for this book but am not sure if I was just too critical due to the narrator or my expectations. I have never ready Lindsay Sands before but heard lots of positive talk about her books so thought I would give it a go. I think it was a really unique idea to have a fainting vampire. I do think that the humour in the story was lost in translation by the narrator. I also agree with other reviewers that the love at first site was a bit too fast and over the top. It is hard to fully buy in. However, I think that there is room for positive improvement so am willing to give the next book a try before I cast judgement on the series. Overall it was just ok for me. I have certainly read better.

Being confronted on the beach by a sexy stranger wasn't part of Natalie Conner's plans for a peaceful morning taking photos. And why on earth would he think she's taking pictures of him, anyway? Who is he? One thing’s for sure, he’s hot, and incredibly romantic, feeding Natalie’s wounded soul.

There was very little depth to this story. The falling in love in two days was a bit hard to believe. There are no twists or turns to this book. It is plain old boring! Yes there are sex scenes that get steamy but after the first few you can just tune them out. The characters of Natalie and Luke are just dull. The narration is a bit to young and mousy for my taste. I was expecting more and must say I am disappointed. Sometimes it is good to listen to a book that is just a lighthearted romance but usually the characters are exciting or you just get sucked into the story. There is nothing like that in this book. I am trying to figure out how a series could possibly be made from this book. Save your credit and try something else.

Never mix business with pleasure. Never bring politics into the bedroom. In a way I did both when I took Jackson Rutledge as a lover. I can't say I wasn't warned. Two years later, he was back. Walking into a deal I'd worked hard to close. Under the tutelage of Lei Yeung, one of the sharpest businesswomen in New York, I had picked up a thing or two since Jax walked away. I wasn't the girl he once knew, but he hadn't changed. Unlike the last time we'd drifted into each other's lives, I knew exactly what I was dealing with...and how addictive his touch could be.

I love Sylvia Day but this book just does not measure up in my opinion. It is a bit boring and seems choppy. The characters Jack and Gia have a lot of chemistry between them but I did not get how he just walks back into her life and then they start having sex again. Gia seems to have a good head on her shoulders and is tough. You would think she would not forgive so easily. I felt like the story was a bit choppy and did not always flow well. I did not really get Gia's job and Chad's part seemed off in the story line. Overall I was not impressed. I noticed that others did not like the narrator. I don't think she did a bad job, I think it was the Jersey accent that started to wear on my nerves after a while but not due to the narrator herself. I think just listening to the accent played by anyone would be annoying after a while. In the end I don't think this was the best of Sylvia Day.

One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him. But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation - and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out - Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume - her sweet, filthy fling - to France for the summer and just…play.

I got this book based on reviews and was not disappointed. It had me laughing and kept my interest all the way through. Although the premise of the book is unrealistic, you can't help but want it to work. Mia and Ansel are a great couple. I love the fact that she is embarrassed at all the right moments. The story line has enough going on that you do not need over the top drama constantly. I hope that the Christina Lauren brings back all the characters throughout the stories so we see what is happening to them. Overall a very enjoyable easy read.

I am not one to not finish listening to a book but this one is just killing me. The narrator is so boring that I realize I have tuned out while listening. I can't seem to get beyond chapter 3 as it has not caught my interest. Honestly, it is like listening to the narrator read a Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat book. (probably dating myself). So far the only good thing is that I got this book in a BOGO deal. I am not feeling the connection between the two main characters and the story seems to jump around and does not flow well. Maybe I will try again later.

Lead guitarist Brian Sinclair may have finally won Professor Myrna Evans heart and her consent to wed, but being part of a high-maintenance band might just ruin his long-anticipated wedding day and steamy wedding night. I am so glad that she finished with each character and got them all married off, except for Trey Mills and his partners. I was confused at the beginning because I felt like the first half of the book really was a repeat of the first book. It did not really have any new scenes in it. I did like how all the characters were in this book and that you got the happily ever after you wanted. However, out of all of her books this was my least favourite. I guess I was expecting more excitement. In the end I still rate this book high for the simple fact that I love these characters and anytime I can have more of them is a good time for me.

This book takes your further into the story of Lilly and JS. The book has mystery and suspense. It will take you to the reaches of your comfort level as it deals with kidnapping and to some extent rape. This is not usually the content I enjoy but for some reason I cannot put this book down. The author does an amazing job of drawing you in and although the subject matter is not comfortable she makes you hang on every word. I think it is really well written and I cannot wait to see where she takes these characters. Again my only complaint would be that the book is so short and I don't want to waist a credit on it so I buy them.
