When Kellan’s band gains stardom, Kiera and Kellan’s relationship is put to the ultimate test. Can their love for each other withstand the constant pressure of superstardom? The friendships they’ve formed, the new family they’ve found, and the history they’ve forged will all play a part in helping them navigate the turbulent waters of the band’s exploding popularity. A greedy executive hell-bent on success, a declining pop star looking for an edge, and a media circus that twists lies into truths are just some of the obstacles the lovers will have to overcome if they are going to remain together.

Overall I enjoyed this series. It was written different than I was used to reading. It was like and recounting of events and journey. At first I was not sure what I thought but it grows on you and you become captivated by her story. I only did the audio book for the last book but would recommend it. You can picture that these events could really happen. It is about choices and decisions that you make and the consequences of those actions/choices. It makes you laugh, cry, smile and cheer. The dialogue between characters is very funny. The performance was great.

When I wake up in a dark, unfamiliar room, I have no idea what's waiting for me in the shadows. My imagination conjures up demons of the worst kind. Reality is much worse: A collar with no leash. A prison with no walls. And a life stripped of meaning. A collar with no leash. A prison with no walls. And a life stripped of meaning. I am presented with a vile contract and asked to sign. It outlines the terms of my servitude.

I should know better than to start a series that is only 2 hours in length. Just when it is getting good you have “To Be Continued” stuck in your face. This book’s content is dark and suspenseful. You don’t know if you love it or hate it. In the end you love it but I wish there was more. J.S. is just a bit sick yet the author writes this story in a way that you cannot hate him. You are intrigues by him and why he kidnapped Lilly. She is just a confused victim in all of this and you think Stockholm syndrome. In the end this book keeps you wanting more. I don’t understand why authors write these little stories unless it is for a money grab. You end up paying more than usual for the entire story and this is why I don’t usually buy in. However, this one intrigued me enough to break my own advice. I am not disappointed. I am hooked and will need to continue on.

Danika hasn't had an easy life. Being insanely attracted to bad boys has never helped make it easier. One look at Tristan, and every brain cell she possessed went up in smoke. This man was trouble with a capital T. It was a given. She knew better. Bad boys were bad. Especially for her. Considering her history, it was crazy to think otherwise.

I was captured by these characters after reading the Up in the Air series. I was excited to read their story. All I can say is that this book is really good but I was disappointed that you really need to get to book two and three to get any really important details to the story. This book explains how they got together and their volatile relationship. Danika and Tristan are hot and sexy together and you can really feel the chemistry. They are both young and trying to find their way. Danika has had a hard life and is still in school. Tristan is rich and almost famous and comes from a loving family. The book has happy moment and then some sad times with lots of sex throughout. I can’t wait to start the next book to learn more. The narrator does a great job creating these character gets you totally absorbed in the book.

I loved this book. I think it was the unique style of writing by this author. She has a way of making the characters come to life. This book had it all. Humour, sex and a plot. It will make you laugh, cry and just grin from ear to ear. Mal captivated me with his silly humour. You could never tell if he was joking or serious. I love that he called Anne Pumpkin. It was so cute and she hated it but in the end it stuck. Every time he says it you just grin. This is not your typical romance novel. Things just happen and honestly you just have to laugh. Although Mal comes across as stupid at times, he is just a big loveable guy that is impulsive and sexy as hell. Anne is in a whirl wind with him and ½ the time I don’t think she even knows how she got to where she is at. For some reason, this just works great. The dialogue is awesome. The scene where they are jumping on the bed is too funny. My favourite is when he starts talking to her girlie bits. It is hilarious. This was better than the first book and I cannot wait to see where all the guys are going from hear. This is a crazy, twisted, funny, sexy book that you will not be disappointed in.

When sensei Ronin Black first encounters Amery Hardwick, the fire in her eyes ignites a sexual spark a thousand times better than the primal rush he used to get from mixed martial arts matches. She accepts his darker edges and admits to him that her desires aren’t as wholesome as he believed. And before long, Ronin is grappling with emotions he’s never felt before.

I agree with other reviews. This book fell short. I did not like the narrator and it bugged me throughout the story. I wish she would have stayed with the original. Daniel’s continuously sounded like he was in pain instead of being strong and demanding. Sometimes the inflection in his voice did not match what the character was saying. One time I thought Amery was being funny and sarcastic but she came across as a B. I thought Ronin’s character was too soft and week in this one. I did not enjoy the parts where Amery was dominant. I don’t think the narrator could pull it off. It is not that I did not like the concept and understood why she was doing it but in the end it just did not work. I also understand that the book is focused on being tied up. But all the sex scenes were the same and after a while not really interesting. I kept waiting for something to happen that would make the story exciting. But alas nothing did. I kept falling asleep and did not bother to rewind most of the time. It took me forever to finish. I have listened to worst books but this is not on my favourite shelf for sure. I think your credit can be better spent.

It didn't matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same.

Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she's been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it's boring…and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control. Then Nico walks into Elle's office and everything changes…for both of them.

    Story

I got this based on the great reviews but I have to say it was just Mah for me. There were parts in the story that were never followed up. For example, the contract that Nico was trying to get out of. It just sort of resolved itself but there was a lot of build up to this and then nothing. Again there was a whole part on a new contract and not knowing who he was to fight and implications for his trainer and himself. Elle was to look into it and then you hear nothing until all of a sudden the fight is going to happen. I think these parts could have really made the storyline more interesting. I did like the parts where his family was involved and t-shirts. This book is marketed as an MMA fight book but in my opinion there was very little fighting or tense moments. I just found that the book was choppy. Although it had romance, steamy sex and chemistry, I just found that it is a book you will easily forget. I am not sure if I will continue on or not. I think if I needed a filler book, then I would keep going. It just did not wow me.

    Story

This is a typical sub/dom book that did not really take you to the next level. The storyline was the usual girl wants dominant and dominant wants a new sub. Abby is inexperienced at being a sub and Nathaniel is going to teach her the ways. I did not really get their connection and it took a while to truly be drawn into the story. Nathaniel loses a bit of his Alpha male qualities for me and this messes with the chemistry between him and Abby. I did not like that he would not sleep in the same bed as her. It came across as cold and uncaring rather than him doing this to assert his dominance. I am glad that the book ends and you don’t feel like you have to read the next book. I am not really into reading the same book from Nathaniel’s perspective (which is the next book in the series). For that matter I am not sure there needs to be another book. I did not hate this book but it was jut mah for me. I don’t think I will be reading the others.

Former small-town girl Amery Hardwick is living her dream as a graphic designer in Denver, Colorado. She's focused on building her business, which leaves little time for dating - not that she needs a romantic entanglement to fulfill her. When her friend signs up for a self-defense class as part of her recovery after an attack, Amery joins her for support. That's where she meets him. Ronin Black, owner of the dojo, is so drawn to Amery that he takes over her training - in public and in private. The enigmatic Ronin pushes Amery's boundaries from the start, and with each new tryst, Amery becomes addicted to the pleasure and to him.

Overall this was a good listen. I enjoyed the storyline as it was not a typical BDSM book. The entire book is based around the eroticism of rope tying. At first I was not really sure because I did not know much about this type of kink but I think the author did a good job of hooking you into the story. I liked that Amery and Ronin had some angst between them and that it was not just a simple romance story. Amery’s friends are pretty funny as well and so added some humour to the story. The scene at the very beginning with the pants and the dojo was one of my favourites. The chemistry was great between the two characters with a touch of mystery to keep you going. I am not sure about Ronin’s interaction with other submissive women. I know there was no sex involved but it just felt too intimate and I did not enjoy that. Maybe if that was part of Amery’s kink and she liked to watch, but that was not her at all. I will be ordering the next book to see what happens. This was not one of my favourite books but it was an enjoyable listen.

This book picks up where the author left off and there is no disappointment with Seth and O. This book has it all. It is intense and unpredictable. It had me from the start and I really enjoyed every moment. I love the banter between characters. Seth is passionate about his fighting and his woman. He will never let anything stop him. Olivia is good but wants a little bad in her life. She does not take his crap but yet she still remains sweet. Selena is a mouth piece that you are not sure if you want to hate or love. She is messed up but in love with Jackson. I think they should have their own story because there are a lot of innuendos about their sex lives. I am only disappointed that the third book is not ready for us yet. Now I have to wait and stew over what is to come. This book has some unpredictable parts that I really like because it is not all sunshine and flowers. To me this brings a realistic quality to story. You will not be let down with this book. 4.5 stars from me.

He's the kind of guy moms' warn their daughters about - the kind that leaves a trail of shattered hearts behind him and he has Olivia in his sights. Olivia has never met anyone as confusing as Seth and his hot and cold attitude constantly sends her reeling. What an unexpected surprise that this book was. There were some mixed reviews but I have to say that this book hit a home run with me. I was captured from the get go. I did not give it 5 stars because I feel like the Real Series was just a touch better. However this totally compares and will not disappoint. Seth and Olivia are two lost souls. They have both been beaten down by life and family and are trying to find their way. I like that this was not a story of a guy that was sexually abused and turns to sex to alleviate his pain. Seth is rich but this book does not focus on his money or him buying things. He is intense and seductive and a dominate, alpha male. Just the cover of this book can make you drool and imaging all that muscle and strength. Olivia although timid is not a total push over. She has some spunk and keeps you surprised with her responses. She can be feisty and innocent all at the same time. This has great steamy sex scenes and lots of chemistry. It is a romance story with a few twists and turns. This book will not disappoint and I cannot wait to start book two. 4.5 stars from me.

This was a cute romance between Kara and Simon. It was very long. At one point it said epilogue but there were still hours left in listening time. I think the book had potential but there were some gaps in the plot. I did not get the chemistry between Kara and Simon at the beginning. He was stocking her and then boom she and he are in love and living together. There was an attempt at a plot twist but it fell short. I know there are other books in this series and although not a bad listen I would not necessarily run out and get the next book. This would be a good book in the sale bin. I feel a bit critical as I write this but if you were to compare other authors to this one it just missed the mark a bit.
