A dangerous, homeless drifter who grew up picking cotton in virtual slavery. An upscale art dealer accustomed to the world of Armani and Chanel. A gutsy woman with a stubborn dream. A story so incredible no novelist would dare dream it.

"So much better than the hard copy!! ..."
    Overall

When I first read the hard copy version of this book, while I loved it, it was very hard for me to get into because of the characters changing back and forth. This audio book is so easy to listen to and the changes in the characters really keeps your attention. Have your kleenex close by for this one! Excellent!!!!

The story begins as Colleen and Newell Cerak first learn the doubtful, then shocking news that their daughter, buried five weeks earlier, is still alive. Forming a backdrop to the reunion are the faces of the Van Ryn family, strangers to the Ceraks, who are just coming to terms with the harsh reality that the girl whose bedside they have been posted at for five weeks is not their daughter after all - and that their own daughter, Laura, has already been buried under the name of Whitney Cerak.

This is an excellent audio book! What beautiful people both families are. What deep love for God that walks the walk and doesn't just talk the talk. Very moving and touching! Excellent choice!

L.M. Montgomery's Rainbow Valley is the continuation of the beloved classics Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea. Anne and Gilbert Blythe are married and have six mischievous children. Always seeking out new adventures and trying to help others, they're a rambunctious lot.

If you are a fan of the Anne of Avonlea series, L.M. Montgomery or both ... you'll LOVE this audio book! The lady who reads it does an excellent job on the voices. You'll laugh and cry and not be able to to put it down! Highly recommend!!!! My new favorite!!!

In this brave, beautiful, and deeply personal memoir, Laura Bush, one of our most beloved and private first ladies, tells her own extraordinary story. She writes openly about the White House during wartime, the withering and relentless media spotlight, and the transformation of her role as she began to understand the power of the first lady.

This book was so informative and entertaining. Being read by Mrs. Bush really added to the experience. Full of insight into the first family and this incredible woman!
