This was a fully entertaining and captivating book. Weeks later, I still think about the characters.
Dave Eggers knows how to tell a story. The story is compelling and thought provoking. This story confirms that old adage that the truth is stranger than fiction. The narration is spot on.
The writing is captivating and the story is intriguing. it is a good illustration of how people exhibit double standards. It is a revealing commentary on academe and is sometimes erotic and sometimes enlightening.
I felt that I was the victim of bullshit. There were some interested insights, but it was mostly a disappointment.
This book is sophmoric and puerile with a few sections that made you think. I can get most of the dialog by hanging around a locker room. That's not what I expect from a book.
