    I had read a book by the author prior to this one and broke from my murder mysteries and suspense novels for this. It was a mistake. It's a novel of rather badly misunderstood or mistreated women who have encounters with unrealistically and weakly portrayed men. It's a true confession novel that will put you to sleep or afraid of getting older.
