I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.

She may be aloof, and more pretty than gorgeous, but Alani Rivers is the kind of woman a hot-blooded mercenary can't forget, no matter how hard he tries. So when Jackson Savor wakes up next to the naked, sleeping beauty with no memory of what happened he knows he's been drugged - even if Alani doesn't. After she was kidnapped, Alani vowed never to trust another man again. Still, something about this strong, sexy hero with the tender touch makes her want to believe him. Will the truth bring them closer than ever?

Would you try another book from Lori Foster and/or Jim Frangione?

I love Jim Frangione but this book did not capture my interest. It was so boring. Maybe I just didn't get it because it is a part of a series of books, but upon hearing this one I have no desire to get the others. I will consider other books (not in this series) by Lori Foster if reviews from listeners that I follow highly recommend it.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I did enjoy Arizona. She was an interesting character. My interest did get roused at the end. Too bad the whole book was so lacking. I want to be involved in the story all through the book and this one was far from that for me.

    Any additional comments?

I wouldn't want this one even if it was on sale.

The perfect listen for me. I just LOVE Shane East!! The combination of Raine Miller, Grace Grant & Shane East is pure ecstasy for my ears. Part 3 does not disappoint. (I would advise to get part 1 & 2 if you haven't already.) It's one that would get way more than 5 stars from me! Well worth your credit. I will advise that this series contains strong sexual content that may melt your earbuds. Enjoy!!

Dylan Carroll, an ambitious college student filmmaker still reeling from the death of her brother, may have just stumbled upon the opportunity of a lifetime. Musician Kai White is in the middle of a public relations nightmare, and he may be keeping a secret that could turn things around. His manager/publicist wants to create a Web series aimed at cleaning up his image. There's also a promising offer at stake if Dylan can abide by the rule of staying strictly professional, and if she can figure out what Kai is hiding. But Kai and Dylan already have an undeniable connection, and when they are together, they discover that rules are pretty easy to break.

After the first few chapters I was thinking maybe I had messed up getting this one but then the story started pulling me in. Then it happened, I got swept into the story. Yes at some points Dylan got on my nerves but then that's part of what I enjoy about a good book. I want my emotions to be drawn upon. I'm not saying I want to be aggravated about a book but I do want to be moved.

So I'm giving this one a Yes on the "worth a credit".

I thought this book might be interesting. I usually don't go for the short stories and I should stick with that but sometimes I like to mix it up. These three stories are OK but it's nothing to get excited about.

I'd advise you to go for something else because these short stories just didn't make the cut for me.

This is an interesting story of an alien observing Earth before making contact. Then due to an accident she gets the opportunity to. There's one human that she really needs to get real personal with.

I'd say this is a interesting book. I would not spend a credit on it. It's good but not good enought to use your credit. Catch it on sale and enjoy it. It does contain strong sexual content.

In my opinion there's nothing to make this book stand out. It's not one that I wanted to listen to in one sitting. I like to be swept into a story and I don't have to have the hot sexy scenes to enjoy a book, but this one is dull and there's NO passion at all. The sexual scenes are alluded to. I didn't like it at all the one and only time the characters make love it's practically a kiss then the next day. The story had allot of things going on but theres no excitement in it for me. There's a few humorous parts to the book but not enough to make it good.

I wouldn't use my credit on this book and to be totally honest I wouldn't want this one on sale either.

First of all, I really liked this book. If your a fan of the paranormal genre then I think you'll like this one too. It's very mild in sexual content. It has a great plot and I'm looking foward to the other books in this series.

Now to my complaint. Why does Audible release books in random order? Book 2 of this series is not avaliable. This really irritates me. I have noticed this on other series too. For those of us with a touch of OCD books out of order tend to be a problem. I wonder what I have missed in the storyline because I liked the first book so much I will get book 3. UGH!!!!

Ok so I'm a sucker for this type of story. It's good with just enough angst to make me a happy girl. This is a few shades darker than a light romantic listen but not many. It's one that pulled me into that fictional place and time for a few hours of my time. I consider it a credit well spent.

Everything always seems to fall into place for 24-year-old Aubrey Jenson, except for when it comes to her luck with men. Bad boys always draw her in and crush her heart, and Black Falcon's lead guitarist, Riff, is no exception. After sharing a few wild nights together, she leaves him behind, knowing a guy like Riff isn't the relationship type. When she returns to New York, she tries to get the passion she felt in Riff's arms out of her head by dating Isaac, a successful representative at Center Stage Marketing. Just when she thinks she's forgotten Riff, she's forced to see him again.

I keep wondering as I listen to this series of books why I just can't love them like I love Olivia Cunning's books of rock stars. I think they lack the depth that Olivia can communicate in her books. The first book in this series was better than this one. (Narration could of been the issue.) Therefore this is just Ok and I'd prefer to get this one on sale or not at all.

I do not like the male narrator. His voice does not suit the character. His voice sounds older and I just can't see Riff's voice sounding like that in my mind. I actually would of preferred for Aletha George to do the entire book.

Lisa Renee Jones is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. What can I say? I just love the way she leaves me wanting and I do love her male characters.

I've had this book on my wish list for months but I had been hesitant about getting it. I'm glad I did. Ava makes a forbidden deal with Heyerdar to try to get the man she has been in love with for 10 years. Things do not go like she planned.

I like all the magic in the story. It's different for my usual paranormal listens. No vampires or lycans in this book. It's a good listen and I felt it was a credit well spent. I wish I had gotten it sooner.
