Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

Where does The Fault in Our Stars rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This would be among my top 3 of all time.

Who was your favorite character and why?

No favorites. This is a rarity of a novel that I was completed vested in every single character. From the parents and their obvious pain, to Issac and his hilarious threats to beat up his brother, to Hazel and her beautiful thoughts...to Gus....charismatic, adorably charming Gus. I loved them all.

What about Kate Rudd’s performance did you like?

The emotion she used was spot on. She gave Hazel the voice she was meant to have. I believed every second of it.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The entire book moved me. I have never read something that has caused laughter and tears in a way this did....often within the same moments....I was hooked immediately. But if forced to choose a favorite moment it was Gus's texts to Hazel after reading their book. I LITERALLY Laughed out loud. It was the honesty in that shared moment.

    Any additional comments?

I almost never reread books...but I already know I will be drawn in again and again. It made me laugh and it made me cry and I am so grateful to have experienced this. A new favorite. I started late at night and couldnt sleep I so wanted to hear more...and though i was puffy eyed and tired by the end...I regret nothing.
