I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It reminded me of some wonderful moments reading his paperbacks in college. It might be a little confusing if you're not familiar with his work but it's probably still worth a try if you are thinking of "tasting" some Vonnegut.

Never thought it would happen but I'm tickled to find "The Great Controversy" on Audible! This is an outstanding book and I give it my highest recommendation! A MUST HAVE! Truly life changing! The human condition boiled down to good-vs-evil explained thoroughly.

Not at all Biblically accurate. So this was a disappointment. I felt the same way I did when reading a book about King David where it suggested he must have been gay and that Jonathan and he were lovers. Quite absurd! Little is known about Zipporah and I had hoped to learn more about Moses' wife through this one but it is a strange account with a lot of "literary license" used by this author.

I've been a Franken fan for years. With this one (although there are many enjoyable parts) the language and irreverance got to me. Suppose one must be a little thick-skinned (and certainly leaning left) to fully appreciate his humor, but I'm not a big fan of vulgar language so I couldn't rank this one any higher than 3 stars.

Why is it that so many of our calls start out talking about, say, differentials or power steering, but wind up discussing men, women, devious ploys of deception, and power trips? Simple.
