What did you love best about Magnolia Wednesdays?

Being from the South I laughed oftened, because her tales of the way people act in the South were so true. Just a nice clean so true story line.

Valerie Wyatt is the queen of gracious living and the arbiter of taste with a successful TV show. Since her long-ago divorce, she’s worked hard to reach the pinnacle of her profession and to create a camera-ready life in her Fifth Avenue penthouse. So why is she so depressed? All the hours with her personal trainer, the careful work of New York’s best hairdressers, cosmetic surgeons, and her own God-given bone structure and great looks can’t fudge the truth or her lies about it: Valerie is turning sixty.

Jan says: "Enjoyed story narrator shocking"
    "Fairy Tale"
    Overall

This is a typical Danielle Steel story, only sprinkled with fairy dust. If you are 60 it will depress you, because you do not look this 60 year old. Reality it is not.

When history professor Alison Carter became a consultant to the film version of the Wild West legend she’d dedicated her career to researching, she couldn’t possibly have known that she would not only get a front-row seat to a full-blown Hollywood circus but would innocently witness something that would put her life in peril. Nor did she expect that a tall stranger in a cowboy hat would turn the movie — and her world — completely upside down.

The narration, almost made this book painful to listen to. The story was pretty bad also.

    Overall

This book story was predictable, the narration as well as the dialogue was bad,but for some reason and I really do not know why, I just hated to turn if off, and could not waite until I could start listening to it again. Wish there was a sequel, because there could be so much more to the story line.

For two years, Catherine Marks has been a paid companion to the Hathaway sisters—a pleasant position, with one caveat. Her charges’ older brother, Leo Hathaway, is thoroughly exasperating. Cat can hardly believe that their constant arguing could mask a mutual attraction. But when one quarrel ends in a sudden kiss, Cat is shocked at her powerful response—and even more so when Leo proposes a dangerous liaison.

How can you know someone you've never met? That's the question haunting Joyce Conway these days. Recovering from a terrible accident and with her marriage in pieces, Joyce is suddenly plagued by an overwhelming sense of déjà vu that makes her feel as if the life she's living is not her own. During the day she has vivid memories of things she's never seen - such as cobblestoned Parisian streets she's never visited - and at night she dreams of a little girl she's sure she's never met.
