It was a typical romance based adventure. If you looking for some heavy revelations this is not the book for you. If you are looking for cute untamable man gets tamed kinda book... here ya go.
I have not. Narration was cute and light... pairing with the book well.
No, but I would totally watch the Lifetime movie on my couch as to further traumatize my boyfriend.
This is great... for what it is. If you are looking for a fun, romantic, light read ... This is your book. If you are looking for substance and huge plot revelations... keep looking.
No, once was enough. I had to see what all the rage was about, but not something I would re-read.
Yes, absolutely. It is sometimes hard to find something new and different and this book definitely is both.
I liked the main character. Despite not being gay, or a boy, or a superhero, I still found this character very relate-able.
Not sure. I enjoy "reading", but sometimes lack the time to sit down and read, so I do listens on the go. There are very few I would look back on and think... "oh geez, I really should have just 'read' the book."
Absolutely. I am horrible about naming stars and don't usually put famous faces to the characters I read in books.
If you like superheros and underdogs (and are not scared off by a gay character), you will really enjoy this book.
Not sure. I really liked the humor and the writing style, but it really lacked a followable story line.
50 Shades of Grey... had to see what all the fuss was about. I am about 1/4 in and I like it so far, but I haven't gotten to the dirty parts yet.
I really like the part where she went on about her husband watching Rachel Ray on the Food Network, I found it very relate-able.
Meh... I liked it for the time I was listening. I listened to this while rebuilding a computer at work. So, it was good in that it was mostly a collection of cute anecdotes which didn't require a lot of attention. I would not have done well in this situation to try to follow a George R. Martin book.
If you are looking for some short cute anecdotes, then go for it. It has a Shopaholic feel to it without the supporting story line. If you are from Chicago then you may get some added local flavor that might be enjoyable.
Don't know, didn't read the print version. The audio is very funny.
Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich... due to the sarcastic humor or maybe Sookie Stackhouse.. but much more light hearted than some of those.
Most likely not. I think the best parts of this book are the parts you don't see coming, that might be spoiled by a re-read.
Other Jodi Picoult novels have small similarities, but it was quite original based on my past reading lists.
Yes, there were several. I wouldn't want to spoil the novel for others so I will leave it at... the book has a lot of very moving moments.
