Excellent! We were surprised at how good this was and that the authors were able to keep the common theme sowell.

We loved this book. It is very funny with memorable characters you wish you knew. The heat of Delhi and the customs of the city and its inhabitants are conveyed well while maintaining the flow of the story.

Don't bother unless you hate yourself. Totally unbelievable, stupid, stupid, stupid, actions and dialog. Mr. Patterson, how could you?

This book is engaging, smart, intellectual, romantic and surprising. It will leave you hungry for the next edition and ready to visit Sweden. The characters are superb and complex, the relationships are complicated and the narrative is excellent. Wow.

Another reviewer wrote that it is difficult to imagine having sympathy for a contract killer but this book accomplishes that. The Justice Department comes off as a bit bumbling, the mob is portrayed as ruthless and our "hero" as the smartest of the bunch. Hmmm.

Okay, these stories are fiction but really! A man fires from the top of the Hotel Washington to the roof of the White House and no one confronts him? The plot is just not well thought through or well executed.

Harlen Coben has gotten too sentimental. The first few Bolitar books were sharp and crisp. This one is too full of hesitations and sentimental feeelings that don't ring true. Bolitar has always been a bit of a dufus but now he's a sappy dufus.

We have loved Parker in the past but this one is a dog. First, his style of dialog does not work when it is read: "I was right," he said, gets tedious quickly. Second, the plot and the actions of the characters are transparent and ridiculous.
