With her trademark no-nonsense voice and building on the principles developed during her long career as a licensed therapist, New York Times best-selling author Dr. Laura shows listeners how to survive enemies - traitors, backstabbers, and saboteurs - at work and at home.

What made the experience of listening to Surviving a Shark Attack (On Land) the most enjoyable?

Loved that it was narrated by Dr. Laura and that she provided some of her real life examples of being betrayed. I also really liked that she was realistic that sometimes it is just best to walk away. She did not provide a lot of the psycho babble that a lot of these self help books provide - very useful information and very entertaining. I now need to find her show on Sirius/XM as I am hooked.

It was a case guaranteed to spark a media feeding frenzy: a young mother, blond and pretty, disappears without a trace from her South Boston home, leaving behind her four-year-old daughter as the only witness and her handsome, secretive husband as the prime suspect. But from the moment Detective Sergeant D. D. Warren arrives at the Joneses - a snug little bungalow, she senses something off about the picture of wholesome normality the couple worked so hard to create.

Loved that there were different narrators for each character so you could easily tell which character you were listening to.

Very suspenseful and there were so many twists and turns up until the very end.
