For the first three quarters of this book I felt so dark and gloomy. But then, it was a dark and gloomy time in the book. I commend the author for pulling me into the story in this way. And then LIGHT, I was drawn out of the gloom as the hero's started to shine and the plots all came together. And in the end... Sad, sad to see this epic adventure come to a close.

I will miss Jorden's works, yet now have a new master to read.

No; Every battle was the same just changed bad guys names. same mono-log theme, same near death, same saving grace in the end. Jim don't curse in your books, you are not any good at it. It was painful to hear, Watch Good Fellows and take a lesson in cursing.

I most likely own ever book and short story Jim has published. I will buy future books.

The Story was great. The execution was really bad.

40 minutes and 10 seconds into this book I had to shut it off. I had had enough. Not a peep about what this book was about in those 40 minutes and 10 seconds. This was quite possibly the most bloated self serving 40 minutes and 10 secs in the history of written word. I can only guess the entire book was like this. 1/5 of the book was so self serving the rest of it could be the most valuable reading I have ever needed yet I will never know, I honestly could not engure another sound coming from the reader.

I feel like intelligence has been sucked out of me for having listened to the first few hours of this garbage. I finally had to shut it off. This dude is so self-serving and egotistical I fail to see how anyone could believe a word out of his mouth. DONOT waste your time and money on this as it is trash at best. In my opinion this author is completely untrustworthy and or so far out of touch with reality this book should be sold as fiction.

This is the fist review I have ever wrote. I felt if I could save even one person from wasting thier time and money on this book it would be worth me coming out of my shell to do it.

I thought of modern authers Jorden was the master of fluff. We have a new Master. Not only does Cornwell go on and on and on and on and on... (Sorry) about concepts and or facts, but Cornwell's speculation at times is disguised as a two or three word statement. I felt betrayed by this disguise. I would not suggest this to anyone for any reason. I am sorry I purchased this one.
