It's 1942. A Marine aviator, an Army paratrooper and demolitions expert, and a non-com radio man are on an impossible mission for the OSS - sabotaging the resupply of German ships and submarines - by any means necessary!

""Bound" To Listen to It Again"
    Overall

W.E.B. Griffin's Brotherhood of War series captivated me from beginning to end. I did not think listening to one of his series would capture my imagination like reading it. But Honor Bound has done that and more. The audiobook has allowed my imagination to go much futher since I had the ability to pick up on the many accents, inferences, and mannerisms of the characters that reading doesn't allow for. Dick Hill does an absolutely excellent job narrating a complicated story line. His foriegn accents and pronnunciations are outstanding. I will definitely LISTEN to more of Griffin's Books as the opportunity presents itself, especially if Dick Hill is the narrator. GREAT READ! WILL LISTEN TO IT AGAIN.

On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

    "Can't wait for part 2"
    Overall

This is an interesting concept and one that would make an excellent mini-series. Small town, drifter, good ole boy running the town, catastrophic event ... what could be better? I listen during my 3 hour daily commute and quite often sit in the car not wanting to stop and get out of the car. Can't wait to get into Part 2.
