"voice actor great but dialog too repetitive"
Benjamin works hard to give each character their own voice but when Coreene uses ' Solid in the head....' and 'f bomb'and lets not forget ' on your six.' Even the phrases they use about being in love are the same.3 men 3 different personalities 3 exact same language.
Not sure. Curious about the others but worried it would be more of the same.
Forge was my favourite. He had the best lines and sence of humour. I also felt his pain when ever he thought about what he has lost.
Mac and Forge. Of course you can not leave Tania out of the loop but I would focus on Mac and his relationships with those two. Then his need to belong and wonder who sired him. From there have Forge make some comment about how he couldn't be prouder if he sired Mac himself. Then the let down and beat down of a'daddy of the year'.
Story was fascinating but dialog was annoying. Voice actor was geat.
"Stimulating breathtaking and heartwrenching."
Captures your attention and never lets it go. Makes you drool with anticipation for every next chapter and for the next book.
This book lives up to expectations and sets the bar higher for the next book.
I love the way Anita is tough speaking guy one minute then flustered about her 'Catholic Guilt'. Although it is a common theme in the books Ms. Alexis pretrial is heartwarming and hilarious at the same time.
Not sure.
To really enjoy this book you really need to start at the beginning of th series then listen to all of th books.
"torchwood at it's best"
all it missed was the vissual and you could be watching an episode and enjoying the bbc version.
"Exciting and sexy with just a hint of bad boy."
Robert does such a good job with the accents that combined with the careful wording from Kresley you forget you are listening to a story and can 'see' the characters interactions in your head. You can feel empathy for both sides which is not often the case in books. This is one that both sexes can enjoy if they put their minds free of stereo types and just listen to a good story. Excellent work on mood, setting, character development, and creating a world so like our that we can believe it yet different that we can loose ourselves in it.
When he thinks he will be forced to live on the mountain forever with he hillbilly relatives.....the horror and terror perhaps utter revulsion........I can relate.......There are some family members you can't wait to grow up so you can avoid......
A sexy deep resonating voice that can change on the spot to sound like any other person no mater the age or sex. You can always hear the timber of his voice pure and clear behind it , but it didn't change the fact the accent and the pitch were much different. His Russian accent is the first time I ever stopped to listen to one and found it sexy. He made Lothaire sexy. He brought all the characters to life, especially Lothaire. Over all the best male voice I have heard to date for a novel. Amazing job with the Amazons and the hillbillies too.
yes and i did...... stayed up all night while my kids slept when I knew i would get peace when i had a day off the next day and they were at school.... was saving it for while they were at school but got caught up and just forgot to stop....
Amazing fantastic work to the director and the editors too
