The secret to success isn't always about technical skills. In fact they play a very small part in the grand scheme of things. I mean, if you think about it, we all know a braniac whiz who just can't get ahead in life, and when we look at them it's quite obvious. They don't know how to socialize, deal with conflicts, or even manage their own emotions. But here's the twist: Many of us are this way, just not at the extreme end of the spectrum. Sure, we may be playing the EQ game 10 times better than the braniac, but what if we played it 100 times better?

This book would be a very good guide for introverts that are trying to move forward in their professional lives. Personally, I didn't find the book very useful simply because I don't have the same problems with confidence or public speaking, so this was pretty much a review of skills that I have already mastered. However, for those that are trying to come out of their shells and improve themselves both personally and professionally, I think this would be a very good starting point.

Narration here was decent. I thought the overall tone and pace was good for what was being read.

I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author, publisher, or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. I was NOT required to write a positive review and this reflects my honest opinion of the work.

This was a short and easy listen that provided an excellent background and explanation of blockchain technology. Even though I already had an idea of how it worked before listening, I thought that the author explained the concept and how the technology worked very well. You don't have to have an IT degree to understand concepts.

The narrator did a very good job. I forgot that he wasn't the author simply reading the book himself. He was the perfect narrator for this book.

Definitely get this book if you want to know how this new and growing technology works and how you can use it.

How will you change the world? Warning: This is a heavy duty grimoire full of magick, abstract magical theory, paradigm modeling, and subversive ideas. A collection of occult texts including Blood Magick, Post-Modern Magick, and Tactical Magick, in addition to more spells, projects, history, and other writings.

I started this book knowing absolutely nothing about the topic. I found it very interesting and thought-provoking. While I'm not sure that I would put my stamp of approval on every statement or idea in the book, I did think that the overall concepts were fascinating. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in the topic.

The Narrator was quite good, in my opinion. I would like to hear her in future books.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

    Story

This book had similar elements but was quite different from Weir's previous book "The Martian". While different, it was still a very good book and was definitely a demonstration of the author's writing abilities.

This book also takes place in the near future on the first Lunar colony, Artemis. The main character is a young woman named Jazz who has been raised in the Lunar city almost her entire life. The daughter of a welder, she makes her living doing odd jobs (most of them illicit, but harmless) and dreams of becoming an EVA tour guide.

When Jazz is offered a job doing something highly illegal she almost refuses, but the payday so high she will be financially set for some time and finally be able to fulfill her dream of becoming an EVA tour guide. However, when the job takes a turn for the worse, she finds herself in the middle of a deadly game with international corporations, earth-based organized crime syndicates, and local officials and citizens. Now, Jazz must do everything she can not only to stay alive but also save her home and the future of Artemis colony.

The book still has some of the same elements of science and technical troubleshooting, but not nearly to the extent that The Martian did. This book focuses much more on the storyline and the relationship between the characters. Also, unlike The Martian, this book is left in a place where there could potentially be sequels or an entire series since the story concludes but has a pretty open ending.

I think that most fans of sci-fi will enjoy this book. I know I had a hard time putting stopping just for a few minutes...

The narrator was also the perfect fit for this role, dealing with different voices, accents, and voice inflections very well. She sounded just as I imagined the characters would.

    5 stars all around!

This was clearly meant to be a book for boys, but I think that everyone will enjoy this book regardless of age. It was very well written and kept me engaged throughout the entire book. The main character seemed very realistic and was very resourceful. The author also did a great job with describing the new world that Thomas found himself in. I listened to the entire book in one day!

I thought the narrator was above average and never once thought he was anything short of the right person.

This was a neat and short children's title with a cute adventure story. It's short, simple, and perfect for a long drive with kids. Adults will enjoy it as well.

The short story centers around the main character, a young boy, who decides he is going to live on an island with no adults. It's the classic children's story with a good plotline and characters.

The narrator was very good and perfect for young listeners. I'd like to hear him do an adult book as well.

One day I was bebopping along, jamming to the music in my head while wondering if my thighs could handle grabbing a cupcake on the way home. The next thing I knew, my entire world crashed and burned. I used to wake up at night in a sweat, crying because I'd dreamt that my husband was cheating on me or that he hated me and resented my kids. He'd always hold me close and tell me it was all just a dream, that he loved me and our family and that he'd never let me go. He was a f--king liar.

This is not the type of book I would normally listen to, but I like the title so much that I decided to give it a chance. I'm glad I did.

The story is about a woman who gets cheated on and is making the best of life. It was better than the description made it sound and was just short enough to listen to in a single day.

The narrator was average, but needs a little more practice before I would call them "good" at it. However, this didn't affect the story.

In Erotic Exchanges, Nina Kushner reveals the complex world of elite prostitution in 18th-century Paris by focusing on the professional mistresses who dominated it. In this demimonde, these dames entretenues exchanged sex, company, and sometimes even love for being "kept". Most of these women entered the profession unwillingly, either because they were desperate and could find no other means of support or because they were sold by family members to brothels or to particular men.

I agreed to review this book because it sounded uniquely interesting, and I'm glad that I did. I ended up learning a lot about a topic I never would have even considered could be covered in such detail. The book was obviously VERY well researched by the author and she did a good job of presenting all of the information in an easy-to-understand format.

If you like history books, you're probably going to enjoy this book.

The narrator also did a great job with pronouncing things I'm not even going to attempt to say and wouldn't dare try to spell.
