"What can one say about such perfection?"
Created AND narrated by the late GREAT Orson Welles..I am again stupifed & left in AWE...
"This audiobook has become part of my life.."
No matter what words I choose here now, in no way can they describe how much I adore Watership Down. Not only is this audiobook perfectly written, but as Ralph Cosham narrates, the characters come to life! You can literally feel their emotions. I must say, with no exaggeration, I have chosen Watership Down as my all-time favorite for life. My daily life is dedicated to caring for animals, and this has enlightened me so much more about them! I have now incorporated the Lapine language into my day to day lifestyle as well. I sincerely love rabbits very much (and ALL animals of course!) A thousand thanks dear Richard Adams for the creation of such a masterpiece, your two darling daughters, Juliet and Rosamund who encouraged you to write it down and a thousand more to dear Ralph Cosham for bringing these precious and wonderful characters to life!
"Good Classic"
This will always be one of my favorite stories. Overall the audio, the effects & narrarators were good..with only one exception..I just think Alices's voice should've been a younger one. Joan Greenwood (Alice) sounds just like Bette Davis! Whom I ADORE by the way..but DEF NOT for the voice of Alice.
"Eerie story & great narrators!!"
Add together a good thrilling story, a dash each of two legendary classic masters, Boris Karloff & Peter Lorre..what do you get? A savory recipe for classic perfection!
"A super classic gem!"
What a fantastic story! I will watch the movie & listen to this great story till my eyes & ears wear out! Can you even think of a better narrator?? It's Dorothy herself! OMGoodness..I'm clicking my heels to this one!!
"Great classic stuff!"
With the legendary dear Mr. Boris Karloff narrating..how can you go wrong? Very classic, very good. Thank you Inner Santum for such thrilling stories!
"What can one say.."
First, the stories are by Edgar Allen Poe so DEF NO COMPLAINTS HERE!! Then second, just take a look-see at the narrators..the legendary Mr. Vincent Price and Mr. Basil Rathbone! You just can't get any better than that!! I LOVE it!!
"Terrible Old Man is a good story & Yancy makes it"
This story is very interesting and I enjoyed it very much. K. Anderson Yancy is an AWEsome narrator & his voice is absolutely perfect for my favorite genre. The rest of the Sonic Performers are corny. Mr. Yancy stands alone, basking within his own perfection.
"Not too fond.."
The story differs a bit from the Original Zone episode & the narrator voices are a bit cheesy.
"Good, I like it."
I have no complaints. The narrators are fine and the story is same as the Original Zone episode. "Oh Uncle Simon...I'll be right there with your hot chocolate!"
