At the age of 18, in that first golden Oxford summer, Milly was up for anything. Rupert and his American lover, Allan, were an important part of her new, exciting life, so when Rupert suggested to her that she and Allan should get married to keep Allan in the country, Milly didn't hesitate. Ten years later, Milly is a very different person and engaged to Simon - who is wealthy, serious, and believes her to be perfect.

What made the experience of listening to The Wedding Girl the most enjoyable?

The narration was excellent and it was an easy listen. It was not deep or extremely thought-provoking, but I didn't want to stop listening.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Wedding Girl?

The whole mess of how the wedding played out.

What does Katherine Kellgren bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She read at a great pace and brought so much life to the characters.

Mercedes Hildebrand Ware is a member beyond reproach...until her life begins to unravel. When her husband betrays her, steals her money, and runs off to places unknown, it's something Frede would prefer to keep under wraps. The last thing she needs is to become fodder for the JLWC gossip mill. And to make matters worse, there's only one person in town who stands a chance at helping her get revenge - Howard Grout, a tasteless, gold-chain-wearing lawyer who has bought his way into Frede's tony neighborhood.

"My name is Tucker Max, and I am an asshole. I get excessively drunk at inappropriate times, disregard social norms, indulge every whim, ignore the consequences of my actions, mock idiots and posers, sleep with more women than is safe or reasonable, and just generally act like a raging dickhead. But, I do contribute to humanity in one very important way: I share my adventures with the world."

The stories weren't anything special, really. I'm not sure why but I was expecting more. They all seemed the same. I thought there would be more variations between them. I struggled to listen to the whole thing, and it's not a very long audiobook. The worst part was the narration. He read way too fast, with little enthusiasm, slurring and mispronouncing quite a bit. The way he read made it seem like he was just reading these stories someone else had written, not as if he experienced them.
