I don't know if I would read this book again, but I did enjoy the read. I grew up on Doctor Who and I'm finding it fascinating to learn more about the show from the early years from those who were involved. In the US, it was much harder to get access to this information, so having Barry Letts tell us is a real bonus. I'm sure there are things you will learn you didn't know or may not have guessed!

This feels more like sitting down with a friend and having him regale his experiences from his days on the program and how he got there. This gives it a greater connection than someone who doesn't have the emotions and personal connection.

John Hodgman is a great choice to read this book. It feels light and entertaining like his own books and that made it easier to engage with this story. I love stories with technology, and it was a great idea to pair first contact with copyright violations.

I've listened to two of the three John Hodgman books (just purchased That Is All), and I find him enjoyable and entertaining to listen to. Easy to recommend him as the reader.

Even aliens would rather destroy the Earth rather than pay for copyright violations.

It's not all that common that authors who use technology in their stories get the tech right. Mark does that very well. Since I have a background in tech, getting it wrong would have really taken away from the story. Instead, this was great for a long road trip so I could keep listening.

The use of technology was well placed and well used. This is important for someone who works with technology, otherwise the story would have had major distractions in it

It feels like this book ends abruptly, but I believe that it continues in Trojan Horse which wasn't available on Audible at the time of this writing.

A friend recommended this book to me and I would certainly recommend it to a friend. Some might have difficulty with it as it challenges some preconceived notions about religious ideals, but this is what kept me listening -- I wanted to see where it was going.

Some of the reveals of the characters really came out well in this book. I can't say too much or you won't have something to look forward to.

If I had to do it over again, I might pass on this one. I just wasn't captured like I was with his other books. It was recommended to me by a friend, and that was reason enough to pick up the book. Heinlein does a great job of telling stories, but you can't expect someone to be into every story, can you?

I've read other Heinlein books, which is why I was more apt to pick up this one. If I had started here, I might not have experienced some really great stories.

This is the third book from Daniel Suarez that I've read, but it is not a continuation of the series from Freedom or Daemon. If you're into tech and like thrillers, then this is a great combination that gets all the bits right.
