"Narration is terrible and difficult to listen to"
This title sounded like a great listen. But the narrator on this story is very hard to listen to and understand. Scottish accent and monotone delivery is very difficult on the ears. Had to give up after the first 30 minutes.
"Best Audible of 2011"
Never read the print version
Craig Wasson brings excitement in the form of many different voices that all have a warm and inviting appeal to the characters.
The end of the book actually made me tear up. I don't want to ruin the ending, but to me it could not have been written any better. King is the Master of the Storytelling.
If you have an extra 40 hours, this is by far a great way to spend it.
"I have been told that my lessons learned are great"
Listen and practice what Ian teaches and you will be amply rewarded. Women talk and my girl friend actually brags now about what I've learned and put into practice. Even some of the husbands have asked what I am doing different.
"Great Listen - More proof about why we need out"
Sebastian does it again with an excellent. Great story and just another reason we need to either win it with the full power of the United States Military or else get out completely.
"Great Book if You want to Lose alot of Sleep"
Through the first few chapters it was a fairly good book, but then as they take to the sea it turned into a book that I couldn't stop listening to, Lost a night just hanging on each new adventure. This is a great book for historical fiction listeners. Can't wait for the next in the series.
