As you listen to this program, Les Brown will add strength to your purpose. For once you know that it’s possible, it’s necessary, it’s you and it’s hard; you still may ask yourself this one basis question – Why would anyone ask Shakespeare’s Hamlet says, “suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune?” We after all are not pain seekers. The only reason anyone with a sound mind would choose to endure in the face of great obstacles is this – It’s Worth It!

At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena, Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy's instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through the Gaea's forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors from both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape?

Would you listen to The House of Hades again? Why?

I guess!?! iBut i miss the old narrator. I may need to just buy the book and read it because its hard to get use to the change in character voices. I kinda want a refund :(

Would you be willing to try another book from Rick Riordan? Why or why not?

    I love Rick Riordan's books

What didn’t you like about Nick Chamian’s performance?

He tried but he is not Joshua Swanson or Jesse Bernstein. His voice was slightly dry even in the action parts. Hassel's voice, Leo's voice and everyone's voice just sucks.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I keep putting this book down, I just can't follow do to the fact the narrovator can't do the characters voices well.

    Any additional comments?

BRING BACK Joshua Swanson !!! I'd play twice as much for the book if i could listen to it performed well.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

After reading some reviews I almost didnt buy this. BUT thankful I did. I have listen to all three books and my 6 and 8 year olds are now on book two. They love it! Yes this book talks about Gods and Egypt but it is fantsy and history mixed up. There are scary parts but nothing tooo scary. The car goes quiet when this is playing!
