"I LOVE THIS STORY/SERIES"
I really enjoyed the book and couldn't wait for the next one to come along. The narrator is excellent as well. You know it's good when you can't stand to turn it off.
"GO ON... USE THAT CREDIT... =]"
My first Julianne MacLean listen. Not my first Antony Ferguson, of course. I loved the narrator. I think Antony does better than most with the female parts.
The story I loved. It was meaty and involved. Better than the majority of romance stories. After awhile some tend to go down the same path. I loved that there was so much texture to this one. Amelia makes Duncan re-think what he feels he's always known. He isn't at all the way he always believed. I know that was a big circle but I hate to be a spoiler.
I enjoyed this as much as I have any. I do hope the series continues to be as riveting as this one.
Go on... use that credit!!
"Romance, Romance, Romance....."
Gosh I love Bertrice Small and her writing. I wish more of her books were available on audio.
This is the first in the series of The Silk Merchants Daughters. The story has family trials and tribulations in abundance. A big mistake which works out in a huge way. I don't want to spoil the story. It's an intriguing one with a Turkish twist. I have to tell you this story turned out nothing like I had envisioned... it was better though..lol
I am looking forward to the stories for the other daughters... it will be interesting to see what happens with the sons in these books.
"What a series!! Can't wait for book 4 on audio"
I've listened to the first three in the series. I love the story behind the books. The secret guard, their women and Scottich history. Some chivilry, some great stories and some wonderful highlanders. Robert McNab is wonderful. It does take some getting used to him speaking as a woman but in time you get lost in the story and you don't even notice it. I can't wait for the 4th in the series to come out. These are definitely worth a listen.
"Gotta love a shifter!!"
Kirsten Potter always does an excellent job of narrating a story. She's a favorite. this is the first JD Tyler book I've listened to. I must say I'm looking forward to listening to the next book in the series. The story left off at a good place. There are a number of characters with stories behind the scenes. I like this as you know it's preparing you for another book.
Gotta...go buy the next in the series. You'll enjoy this one.
"My First Brogan listen... I like her"
I enjoyed Highland Surrender. I hope it's not the last of the Campbell's. The story had a lot of meat to it for a romance novel. Sarah Coomes did a great job at narration. She did a good job at bringing the characters to life. I hope to see more of Tracy Brogans work in audio. This one is worth a credit. =]
"Wet n Wild!!"
Great continuance to a great series. I love that the author has now introduced the European faction to the story. Which gives us more background for dragon kind. I can't wait for till Book 4 comes out. The narrartor is great with the different characters. He is male so the females do sound alike but the different accents on the males is very good.
I never thought I would enjoy a fantasy book like this but it has been a great listen and very entertaining.... and hot and I do so love the dragon furies.. =].
Start from book 1... this is a series...
"Done and waiting for Book 4!!!"
Phantom Shadows was as good as the rest of the books in the series. Bastien is one of my favorites and was happy his story was told. I love the Immortal Guardians and am looking forward to the next books in the series. Kirsten Potter as always gives each character his/her due. Wonderful... Start with book 1. =]
"Alas where is book 2?"
I loved the story. It was refreshing and different. Can't wait for the next in the series.
Kirsten Potter is one of the best in narrarators. Give this one a try...
"Loved the Mackenzies from book 1"
Fascinating men and the women they love. Each book is very different and I've been through the 4 that are available. Book 1 with Ian was very different considering his mental state. A beautiful Story.. Book 2 with Mac the artistic Mackenzie. Book 3 with Cam the horse lover of the family and Book 4 with Hart the oldest and leader of the family. Each book was a wonderful story on it's own..but I love how the series entertwines the family members and they are active in each book. I think my favorites are book 1 and book 4.. but I loved them all. Can't wait for the next three to come.. especially The Other Mackenzie..
"Fallen in Love"
I was hesitant to buy the first in the series after reading one of the reviews. But, I am inquisitive and have to know everything from the beginning. My suggestion is to start with book 1. I love Wrath and Beth. By the end I was in tears. There is more than one "finding out". I won't be a spoiler but it's worth buying the first book to learn about Beth's father Darius.
I'm a fan of Moning, Callahan, Duvall, Carriger and Frank. JR Ward is now included in those favorite writers.
Take a chance and buy the audible from the first book and you won't be disappointed. It's not really even a chance now with the return policy. But, I say give this one a chance.
I love love love the Brothers!!
