Legends never die....Old friends are reunited and ancient secrets revealed as Kirk, Spock, Picard, Riker, Data, and all of the Federation's best and brightest are enmeshed in a cosmic saga that will test their strengths and loyalties to the very limit. A personal tale of tragedy and triumph that could only have been written - and read - by William Shatner!

If you could sum up Star Trek in three words, what would they be?

    Smart, Engaging, Great

What did you like best about this story?

The fact that James T. Kirk was brought back to life by William Shatner himself after the weak death scene in Star Trek: Generations.

What does William Shatner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Kirk voiced by William Shatner, everyone else voiced by him doesn't work entirely though.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Kirk Returns!

    Any additional comments?

If you're a Star Trek fan who's dieing for more of Shatner as Kirk, then this is for you!

Charlie doesn't want to believe it when he discovers that he can hear people in photographs talking. But his horrible aunts are delighted: it means that he is one of the chosen and must attend Bloor's Academy for gifted children. Once there, Charlie realizes that some of his classmates have equally mysterious powers, and soon Charlie is involved in uncovering the mysterious past of one of them.

What made the experience of listening to Midnight for Charlie Bone the most enjoyable?

The narration, but mostly the interesting story and the characters.

What other book might you compare Midnight for Charlie Bone to and why?

Harry Potter, it has a school for gifted children, magic "even if the children aren't wizards" and plenty of the sort of evil characters you'd get from a Potter book.

What does Simon Russell Beale bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His brilliant voices for each character. His Grandma Bone voice makes me cringe every time.

Was there a moment in the book that particular moved you?

    The ending.

It is now six years since the secret disaster at Jurassic Park; six years since that extraordinary dream of science and imagination came to a crashing end - the dinosaurs destroyed, the park dismantled, the island indefinitely closed to the public. There are rumors that something has survived.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you saw the movie and thought it sucked, then you might like this book. It's totally different and and Malcolm doesn't even have an annoying kid in it "that kills Raptors with gymnastics"...like the movie!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Not really, but the book is better than the movie and smarter.

Did Anthony Heald do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Yes, but his Levine voice is kind of fruity and annoying.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Neither, but it made me wish the Spielberg version followed the book more closely. The film just has many people with guns getting ripped to pieces and not one gun killing a dinosaur. This book has better pacing and is smarter, even if it's still not as good as the first.

From the ever-inventive, ingenious mind of Michael Crichton comes the terrifying tale of a "theme" park that even Disney never dreamed of! A shroud of secrecy covers a privately-owned island off the coast of the Dominican Republic where an American bioengineering firm is quietly building a resort theme park. Even the expert consultants on the project don't know exactly what it is. And local doctors are mystified when an injured park worker arrives at the hospital with gashes on his body as if an animal of monstrous proportions has mauled him.

If you could sum up Jurassic Park in three words, what would they be?

    Exciting, Classic, Excellent

What was one of the most memorable moments of Jurassic Park?

    The T-Rex

What about John Heard’s performance did you like?

He did better than the narrator for Lost World, but still another actor might have done better. One with not so much of a calm and laid-back voice.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Like, Disney World, but the rides eat you!

    Any additional comments?

A little different from the movie, but the plot is about the same. "Oohh, ahh Dinosaurs,,,,oh no they escaped!."

If you could sum up Sexual Fantasies Exclusive to Men in three words, what would they be?

    Sexy, Sensual, Steamy

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dr. Janet Hall, I know she's the narrator but she has a sexy voice and I hope she does more like this.

What about the narrator’s performance did you like?

Her Australian accent and the way she narrates the stories, they are too short though.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Nothing really, since it doesn't really offer any.

Soon she runs from her husband, to the airport, down to the Florida Gulf, and out to Vermillion Key, where her father has offered the use of a shack he has kept there for years. This is doing her all kinds of good, until one day she makes the mistake of looking into the driveway of a man named Pickering. If you could sum up The Gingerbread Girl in three words, what would they be?

    Gripping, Suspenseful, Smart

What did you like best about this story?

The strong lead woman and the creepy and dangerous villain.

Which character – as performed by Mare Winningham – was your favorite?

I think she did all the voices well, but the villain was done best by her. She made it clear how out of his mind he was and she also captured how slimy and revolting the character is.

Who was the most memorable character of The Gingerbread Girl and why?

The villain, can't think of his name though.

Dick Morrison's life has become a nightmare of addictions, filling his days with overeating, overworking, and smoking way too much. When an old friend tells him about a surefire way to quit, he's more than willing to give it a shot. But what Dick doesn't know is that Quitters, Inc. demands a high price from anyone who strays from their rigid rules-like a few volts of electricity for the nearest and dearest... or maybe a missing thumb?

What did you love best about Quitters, Inc.?

It's a smart short story that asks the question, what's more important a drag from a cigarette or your families safety ?

What other book might you compare Quitters, Inc. to and why?

    None come to mind.

Which character – as performed by Eric Roberts – was your favorite?

The man in charge of Quitters Inc. was pretty creepy and well voiced by Eric Roberts.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Neither, but it is smart and suspenseful. If anything, it made me cringe a little bit.
