"Great story and narration!"
This was an excellent book, it has a wonderful love story in it along with some action! I would definatly recommend this to vampire story lovers!!!The vampirism theory is very unique and intersting!
"Even better than the first!"
If you liked the first book, a dog's purpose, then you will love this one too! I actually liked this one even better than the first one! Must read for dog lovers!
The voice of the writer, the way he wrote so well from the point of view of a dog!
Of course the dog, but also CJ.
I love this book!
"Awesome series"
This is a series I was grabbed into after reading all my favorite vampire novels such as the Sookie Stackhouse series, and Jeanine Frost books. It captured my attention, but it wasn't until the 3rd book that I really became completely addicted! However, you have to read the first two to fully understand it!
The author does a great job in bringing Rachael to life with all her problems! If you like any of the vampire novels that I mentioned above then you will like this series!!!!
"well..."
I may have to give this one another chance but I got about two hours into it and my mind kept wondering. So either I have a lot of things on my mind or this isn't interesting enough to keep my mind from wondering. I may have to give it another try when I run out of credits and have nothing else to listen to.
"Different, but interesting"
This was a surprisingly good book. Someone wrote a review saying it was copying Harry Potter but it's nothing like Harry Potter! It's a little confusing at first but it all ties together at the end.
"Interesting enough"
It was interesting enough to read, however it's not crazy addicting. I'm not rushing to download the next one, like I am with the Cat and Bones series by Jeanine Frost. It's not a credit waste either.
"Very insightful"
If you are a dog and maybe even a cat person you will like this book. It is so interesting coming from the dogs point of view. Not only that, but it has made me appreciate my dogs even more than I already do. It made me laugh, and cry. It kind of has a slow start but its worth it to keep reading. The writer really does a remarkable job of wrapping you into the characters, that you can feel as if you are there. It also makes me think about dogs having past lives as well. Give it a listen.
"love it"
I finally found another vampire series that I really like, and I am quite picky. It has action, love, romance, and it is just intriguing. I love this narrator as well! Someone wrote that if you like the Sookie Stackhouse series, which I love, you would like this series! They were right!
"Amazing"
Jeaniene Frost has a remarkable talent and I really love her books!! She can't write them fast enough! This is one of my favorite series. I like Cat and Bones better, but the World books are very interesting as well, giving the readers a glimpse into the lives of the other characters.
"Unbelievable"
This story is so interesting, but also deeply disturbing! The story is great and it starts out when the writer is a child and all throughout her being grown up, and how she tries to help other girls like her. This book really opened my eyes and makes me want to get involved in efforts to stop the sex-trafficking. It does make me happy that I was born in America as opposed to Cambodia!
"Very interesting and different"
I am writing a review because the preview of this book was very different as it turns out. This book gets to a slow start where I kept thinking "get to the point", but once the story unravels it has an unexpected surprise. The writer has a close friendship with this woman who keeps telling her things of her past abuse, and they are the kind of friends that lean on each other. Then the writers daughter starts doing things like stealing money, taking her pills to school and ripping up other things, It gets so out of hand and the school is involved, and the daughter keeps getting worse, and the family is being torn apart because of this. It has a surprise ending, that makes it so good. If you can get through the first part of it, then it is really good. Although I am not sure why the writer explains so much of her childhood in the beginning because I can't see the connection. I think it is worth a credit!
