Before Liz Lemon, before "Weekend Update," before "Sarah Palin," Tina Fey was just a young girl with a dream: a recurring stress dream that she was being chased through a local airport by her middle-school gym teacher. She also had a dream that one day she would be a comedian on TV. She has seen both these dreams come true. At last, Tina Fey's story can be told....

I recommend this book to anyone. Its hilarious, entertaining and there are a great deal of inspirational pieces of wisdom. My girlfriends and I play it on our regular road trips and laugh and laugh. This is one book that is enhanced greatly by listening instead of reading!!! Tina Fey makes this a real treasure!

Full of stupid cheesy lines like "she made his inner panther purr like the alpha he is" this book was an interesting backstory ruined by sleezy horribly done sex scenes. I laughed out loud and some of the ridiculous dialogue. I finished the book to hear what happened with the backstory but I fast forwarded A LOT to get there.

"Ninety-five days, and then I'll be safe. I wonder whether the procedure will hurt. I want to get it over with. It's hard to be patient. It's hard not to be afraid while I'm still uncured, though so far the deliria hasn't touched me yet. Still, I worry. They say that in the old days, love drove people to madness. The deadliest of all deadly things: It kills you both when you have it and when you don't."

This book was way too much insight into one annoying girls inner dialogue. I hated how whiney and dramatic she was and while I love the actress that narrates this book when she is acting on TV, I couldn't handle her voice on audiobook. This book is slow and tries to hard to be poetic about an inner awakening when the character herself has little depth. Not a fan.

Tough, brainy alchemist Sydney Sage and doe-eyed Moroi princess Jill Dragomir are in hiding at a human boarding school in the sunny, glamorous world of Palm Springs, California. The students - children of the wealthy and powerful - carry on with their lives in blissful ignorance, while Sydney, Jill, Eddie, and Adrian must do everything in their power to keep their secret safe. But with forbidden romances, unexpected spirit bonds, and the threat of Strigoi moving ever closer, hiding the truth is harder than anyone thought.

I am beginning to like the story of Sydney better than that of Rose in the Vampire Academy series. I thought this book was better than the first and I am looking forward for the additional books in this series. The character development is getting better and better! You will love this book if you liked Bloodlines.

The recent Strigoi attack at St. Vladimir’s Academy was the deadliest ever in the school’s history, claiming the lives of Moroi students, teachers, and guardians alike. Even worse, the Strigoi took some of their victims with them . . . including Dimitri.

Reading the reviews everyone seems to think this narrator wasn't as good as the last couple have been. For me she is much much better than any of the others. She maintains the regional accents which were left out of the last two books and it really bothered me. This also enables us listeners to follow the story much better because you can follow the dialog more easily without the whiney, valley girl and fake man voices the last narrators have had to use to tell characters apart. I wasn't sure I could handle another book with such annoying voices.

Strange things are happening in Maya's tiny Vancouver Island town. First, her friend Serena, the captain of the swim team, drowns mysteriously in the middle of a calm lake. Then, one year later, mountain lions are spotted rather frequently around Maya's home and her reactions to them are somewhat . . . unexpected. Her best friend, Daniel, has also been experiencing unexplainable premonitions about certain people and situations.

What did you like best about The Tiger's Wife? What did you like least?

The book was impressive for such a young author but I found it hard to get through and often dull.

What about Susan Duerden and Robin Sachs ’s performance did you like?

They were great narrators. They were as good as an oscar winning actor.

    Any additional comments?

This book wasn't what it was hyped to be. Its well narrated but the story its self I found to be dull and I could have done without reading it.
