A Feast for Crows brings to life dark magic, intrigue and terrible bloodshed as the war-torn landscape of the Seven Kingdoms is threatened by destruction as vast as any in its violent past. The War of the Five Kings has ripped Westeros apart. The bloodthirsty, treacherous and cunning Lannisters occupy the Iron Throne, with allies as ruthless as themselves. Lord Frey was host at the Red Wedding, so called for the massacre of the guests, their screams unheard above the music of the feast.

How could the performance have been better?

Roy Dotrice, is such an excellent narrator but why did you change the voices of the characters!

I know it was 5 years between books, but why???

The four dead guards didn’t concern Mitch Rapp as much as the absence of the man they’d been paid to protect. Joe Rickman wasn’t just another foot soldier. For the last eight years Rickman had ran the CIA’s clandestine operations in Afghanistan. It was a murky job that involved working with virtually every disreputable figure in the Islamic Republic. More than a quarter billion dollars in cash had passed through Rickman’s hands during his tenure as the master of black ops and no one with a shred of sense wanted to know the details of how that money had been spent.

I have been waiting on the edge of my seat for another Mitch Rapp installment especially one that didn't focus on the back story and this sure did not disappoint.

Another gripping performance by George Guidall also.

When undercover FBI agent Matt Hogan totals three vehicles in an out-of-policy Beverly Hills pursuit of a fleeing Arab drug-runner, he incurs the wrath of the Bureau hierarchy. To avoid an almost certain suspension, he accepts a new assignment tracking terrorist-cell groups while posing as a volunteer at a nonprofit charity. What he doesn’t know is that the ripples of danger from this case will threaten not only his life but the safety and security of the entire nation.

This book had all the potential to be a great book but just got to caught up in "spreading the word of Jesus", it may be some peoples thing but it got a bit much and stopped the book halfway.

Sorry Bob Hamer I think ill be giving your books a miss in future.

Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.

What a well written and presented book! Frightening how obvious and overlooked this issue of EMP is in today's society.

One of the best books I've had the pleasure of listening to in years!
