Not really a flesh eating zombie story. Good writing well acted. But just not what I expected.
Performance was really well done
Just to be clear Shawn is an awesome narrator. Just had one minor criticism. 2 of the (non main) characters had their names pronounced differently than how they where in the first book. But still this is one of my favorite series from audible. Com
Brandon Sanderson to me is truly a master storyteller. I enjoy the fact that his work is fiction but isn't Cooke cutter so all of his work is unique and innovative. Truly a creative genus to me. (you must listen to the first in the series for this free episode to have the right impact) i hope you give it a chance. Thank you for reading this review hope it is helpful.
So cool to get a zombie book with an extreme twist from the norm. I really like zombie titles that bring new facets to the genre. This being from the zombies perspective fits the bill wonderfully. I was initially disappointed because it seemed each story was going to be 10 minutes long (or so) . But they take turns telling a story from this person then the next then back to the first so there is still character development. Not sure why they broke up each story but it doesn't take away from the book. And didn't make their story's hard to follow. If you like innovative ideas i feel this will satisfy you and most zombie enthusiasts. Thank you for reading my review hope it helps.
Very well done. Not overly complicated and very good for causing your mind to expand.
